@@sideburn I first played MM at a summer job in the early 90's. It was in the break room of a computer company alongside Joust, Missile Command, and Food Fight. I remember reading Electronic Gaming Monthly's SNES buyers guide issue during that time. Received the Japanese Mega Drive version of MM by Tengen from my wife last Christmas, which shocked me how arcade accurate it was. It's a trophy of mine. Would love a RepliCade MM.
@@Radd1976 I first played it in 84 when it came out. My friend worked at naugles that had an arcade and they brought it in new. It was pretty cutting edge at the time. Stereo sounds and the first usage of the Sony FM sound chip that became very popular in professional keyboards synthesizers of the time. Also if was Marc Cerny’s 1st major game he did when he was about 17 and is now the head of the PlayStation development. It was also rare that you could finish a game. MM is done after you complete level 7.

Game play looks surprisingly good even with the Replicade controls. Can't wait to get my standard edition!
