This is a killer looking pattern. Hopefully Umpqua picks it up. That cdc dubbing color would be perfect for the October caddis as well!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Ok, this fly is a cool Caddis pupa and I have to make some. This fly screams wax worm imitation for bluegills, and also since I know a guy who ice fishes and is a very dedicated ice fishing angler, I’ll have to tell him about this latex kinky fly for trout under the ice. Thanks for explaining the under body. If I had seen this material in the fly shop without seeing this video I wouldn’t had got the shape correct. I also have been using a loop dubbing technique where I don’t need to any more. All these great tying tips will be applied the next time I get these materials.
Hey man I love the videos! I just got a signed copy of your "Basic Fly Tying" book from a friend of mine who got me started tying flies just recently! I'm excited about giving it my all and just learning everything I can! Maybe some day I can pass on the knowledge that I've received so freely! Much love from Logan, UT!
CC you’re a standup man giving kudos to Ms T.A. for her creation… Hope Umpqua picks it up! Great job on the video, as always, and l look forward to twisting some of these critters up. Looks plenty buggy, Daddy like!

That’s a sweet tie… 💥🎣
I bet an all-white version could be effective through the ice too.
Charlie, are these available at your shop? I'd like to have some on hand for sure!
hey Charlie, What other colors does she tie this in. Love to see more women in fly fishing!! :-)
Have you fished with it .
What size hook?
14-16-18
OK, thanks. And thabks for all the great tutorials. At 77 I can use all the helpI can get :-)
Not to take away from the creator of this pattern, but latex has been used for eons in larva patterns. It’s a nice pattern not saying otherwise.
Thanks for taking the time to point that out, I appreciate the heads up!
Killer…
Searched your friend on instagram… nothing under the username or actual name? I was curious to see her work.
