2 back wheels metal and 2 front regular softs.... drift episode!!
The grooves are actually a natural side effect of the way the lathe cuts metal. It spins the metal really fast, and cuts with a tiny little sharp pointed tool. It moves that along the surface of the wheel to shape it to size. The grooves that show up are actually a spiral all the way up the wheel from the single point tool.
They should have used used 280 grit and took the tool marks out lol higher speed lower feed, with a TNMG-542

Interesting how relatively recent this was given how much the situation has changed since, probably an interesting lesson in here somewhere about how even if things feel completely hopeless they might literally be right about to turn around.

At one point people prior to 1965 used metal wheels and the trucks from the old outdoor skate 4X4 clip on wheels. Most used rubber, wood, or clay at this time prior to the rubber roller rink skates so this is not too far out there.

You guys should contact the guy that made these and ask him to cut a couple of groves into the wheels for some O rings. As long as the grooves are cut deep enough and the O rings don't pop out too much, should give better grip and keep some of the slickness

Idk how to drop in yet what’s the way
Practice stomping down the front of the board quickly on flat ground. Keep doing that until you have zero hesitation. Then do the same thing on a slight down ramp like a funbox. Lean forward and slam the board down quickly just like you did on flat. Do that again until you feel no hesitation. Finally, pick a smaller quarter pipe and do the same thing. The trick is to lean forward and slam those front wheels down as fast as possible. Wear full pads and commit, do NOT lean back! Everyone who falls hesitates and leans back.

Hello. I was going to save up my allowance money to buy a great skateboard for me. I’m a beginner, but I do know my way around things. Any tips on to buy a great skateboard for me. My shoe size is 5 1/2 for womens. And a size 4 for youth.
