You guys are good together...great reviews...both have beautiful truc ks!
Thanks 👍
Hey fellas, Fellow Pinoy here just wanted to say I’m enjoying the content! I used to own the first TRD Pro (The Rock Warrior) and that truck was nothing shy of amazing. I sold it to build out our sprinter van (the Avanger). Im currently in the market for a tundra again as I finish out my sprinter build. I keep going back and forth with getting a new tundra or a late 2nd Gen. honestly leaning towards the 2nd Gen just because I know Toyota has that truck dialed in and I loved my V8. It’s more smiles per gallon than miles lol. Seeing you guys compare stats sure is great. Keep that content coming 🤙🏾
Hey brother! Thank you for the kind words 🙏. It’s an amazing truck man. After getting the opportunity to test drive Edgar’s truck, it’s obvious why guys would want to hold on to their tundras. That v8 is special
Always a pleasure to produce content on our trucks my brother! GREAT video! 💪cheers till next time bro!
Thank you brother! Looking forward to the next one 🤟🏻
You need to put some miles on your TRD pro. I got 8000 on mine already.
@@jimchen4755 definitely plan on racking up some miles on it as soon as the GR Corolla comes in. Trying to squeeze every bit of mileage left from the Prius before I trade it in lol
Nice, yall make a good duo on screen 👌
Thank you! Edgar is definitely a great add on to the channel. What I like is that the chemistry is natural
Great video. I've got a 2021 TRD Pro Double cab with same size tires but Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The bigger tires make all the difference, and at 34 inches they are not heavy enough to heavily impact the mpg since it has a 4.30 rear end. Typically I see about 0.5 to 1.0 mpg decrease is all. I cannot speak to Tundra 3.31 rear end owners, but my neighbor has a F-150 ecoboost with the 3.31 rear end with the exact same tires as mine, and he only gets 13 in town and about 16-17 highway which ironically is worse in town mpg for me and the same on the highway for me.
Thank you 🤟🏻. I agree the tires look great! I’m definitely consider this as a future upgrade
Do they rub at all with no suspension modification? Also, does it do full articulation at wheel lock with no rub?
@@charlesvillarreal4032My 2021 with Nittos does not rub at all. The size is 285/70/18.
Fun fact. When I bought the truck in the spring of 2021 I paid $303 a tire. Thanks to Bidenomics and no more drilling for oil, which tires are made from oil, they are now $411.
Elections have consequences ladies and gentlemen.
Comparing gearing in a 6 speed to a 10 speed transmission isn't equatable. The reason your neighbor gets worse mpg is probably because he has a heavier foot.
Edgar Magnuson Supercharge your tundra .
You should get the red caliper covers from MGP they are aluminum and look really good for your 2020 tundra
Those look good but honestly waiting to see if they come out with a TRD Pro big brake kit 😁
Man im in Austin and saw a Red Corolla GR pass me. It looked so good and reminded me of you. Still getting one?
That’s awesome! Personally have not seen one yet in person. Yes sir! That’s the plan. Unfortunately the date just keeps getting pushed back with no real answer on when. I was supposed to get the GR in January 🤣
@@TristanGrimaldo can't wait to see it on the channel. Such a Gem of a car. Good Luck sir!
He never said tug of war….. 🤔
