No h1 or w1 chip, ear detection, but it has usb c, anc, transparency. It’s like they took one step forward and two steps back. They added new features but removed some that the power beats pro had. Maybe they didn’t want it to compete directly with the new AirPods rumored. No h1 chip is already a deal breaker for me.
While it doesn't have the W1 or H1 chip, if you have a more recent model iPhone (my guess iPhone 8/8 Plus/X generation to start), all you need to do is put the charging case with the ear buds in it next to the phone and the iPhone will recognize the earbuds.

Not having the H1 chip isn't that big of a deal. - The automatic connection between devices is a relatively new feature since iOS 14 yet there's connection issues. - The auto pause/play is really subjective, and a preference some would disable - and spatial audio, there's movie streaming services which use it, but for music I think only Apple Music has this feature. I suppose not having an H1 chip doesn't future-proof the revolution Dolby Atmos is gonna be, or possible incremental updates in the future. But, it'll take a few years for that, since spatial audio atm is only useful in some songs and others sound horrible.
yeah even I don't like auto pause/play because sometimes earbuds have sensor issues when we wear it. So music stops itself, it's pretty annoying actually. 🤨
I have a lot of Apple products and the automatic switching on AirPods Pro is horrible. I have it off all the time. It is most irritating when I try to connect to my phone and it continuously switches back to my computer because I’m in a zoom call.
They won't. We don't even have actual service options for them. I mean, they'll make us lie to you and pretend like you have options, but even if you go in store for help they'll force you to mail in the entire set anyway. Edit: thinking about it, we don't even have troubleshooting steps for them. It's literally just 'reset them,' and if that doesn't work you're screwed. At least with Airpods we can check firmware, learn more about where the issue lies with the LED during the reset, etc.
I’m going to get these and still keep my AirPods Pro. Beats headphones really sound great for music. The power beats were way too big for my ears unfortunately.
I just purchased these, but after seeing this video I'm tempted to cancel because, I'm having issue with my air pods pro, buzzing in left ear and I also had beat power pro and those failed within a year. Literally threw them away. Thinking about paying a little extra for the new sony.

- The auto pause/play is really subjective, and a preference some would disable
- and spatial audio, there's movie streaming services which use it, but for music I think only Apple Music has this feature.
Sony New Earbuds and Huawei freebuds Pro alternative for Android I don't know what that is
I have a lot of Apple products and the automatic switching on AirPods Pro is horrible. I have it off all the time. It is most irritating when I try to connect to my phone and it continuously switches back to my computer because I’m in a zoom call.
Android users have had better airpods for years
Which is??
Yeah tell us
@@FooHenky Any of the Galaxy buds, far better evenly balanced audio, any of the Sennheiser momentums far better as well
@@Liamthewaldo the galaxy buds+ truly are fantastic
Dilemma of this or Sony WF-xm4
Sony WF-xm4
So many conflicting reviews for the mic on these. Pretty much on par with people saying how good/bad it is to talk on these
I was just about to purchase these over my old AirPod 1s but once you said it’s no seamless paring, that ended that conversation
Am buying those 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
so it's a budget pair of beats? I hope they update the power beats pro with some better features.
Good review….like the chess clock,on the shelf!
Do they have any charging optimization feature like the AirPods in order to make battery aging slower?
I’m going to get these and still keep my AirPods Pro. Beats headphones really sound great for music. The power beats were way too big for my ears unfortunately.
How are these like airpods? These are in-ear.
airpods are in-ear as well??
I just purchased these, but after seeing this video I'm tempted to cancel because, I'm having issue with my air pods pro, buzzing in left ear and I also had beat power pro and those failed within a year. Literally threw them away. Thinking about paying a little extra for the new sony.
Take the AirPods Pro to an Apple store. They may replace them for you for free. My friend had the same issue (it is an known issue). They replaced his.
As an Apple user, I’m not interested in these due to the functionality that wax as compared to my AirPods Pro or Powerbeats pro
A lot of guys disappointed with it not having H1/W1 chip....Would you say they are a good buy if you are an android user?
Yes they are very good
Of course!
He said "double tap" but mentioned the buttons are physical...I'm a bit confused as to if there are touch and click controls or just click because a tap and a click are two different things to me
double click
Apple does own but they aren’t on their website right now. Weird
Sony WF-1000XM4 (top quality)
Or
Creative Outliers (top battery life) are the way to go!
Lol I was thinking 🤔 about getting these only wish they had the spatial audio application AirPods Pro has despite not being a Apple product.
I think Apple will slowly start pushing beats towards the android market and their AirPods / AirPods Pro towards their core iPhone users
There are much better options than Beats for Android users. It won't work. They are going to lose money on these.
@@lorddoma6637 Yes, most android users looking for a good pair of wireless earbuds will probably get the Sony's new 1000XM4s or Galaxy Buds Pro
Yes. That’s the strategy. Beats has still many hardcore fans.
Hello bro... I want to ask? For beats studio buds if used to play mobile legends game delay or not?please info thank you
Bet there gonna make a Pro version with the w1 chip for iphones
That already exists, the AirPods Pro
@@extra4542 Whoosh😂
Can you use beats studio buds mic in a phone call on windows 10 devices? Cause airpods with H1 chip would have trouble doing so.
I use the Airpods pro for my Galaxy s21
