Replace filters 4 times a year on a respirator that doesn't have valves... I use one every day for several hours a day and if I extend the usage time I would make it 3 months. But this model from DenTech has no valves, the exhaled air goes over the filter which means that moist air exhaled by the wearer goes over the filter just like an N95 FFR and that's why they are NR (Non Reuseble). In the filter, colony-forming units (fungi and bacteria) can form and that is on the clean side of the filter. The valves in a normal respirator ensure that the moist exhaled air can no longer come into contact with the filter medium and is led outside through the exhaust valve. I would definitely not use these filters for more than one week!
Likewise I came here hoping to see how to disassemble the purple P100 Dentec carts for routine replacement, because I know the filters will get fouled very quickly with no exhale valve! So far I'm noticing that the bayonet filter on this model is very hard to attach+detach compared to 3M without risking damage.
The certified fit test is a legal requirement for working in a hazardous environment. A user seal check is sufficient to be sure that your mask seals, simply seal the inlet opening of the filter with the palms of your hands and inhale the mask should now draw a vacuum on the face any leakage you will feel.

Very nice, but you forgot to say to have a certified fit test done before having the correct mask to fit your face.
