"Paris in the Fall" is one of those lines etched into my memory. Growing up my family and I would refer to this game as "the one with the Clown". So many memorable moments. The chilling hospital encounter, the museum with Andre calling us "Georgie", earning the trust of Lopez and the Countess. I could only now many years later and with proper English knowledge understand the tragedy of what happened there. The deadly encounter(s) at the Hotel Ubu, the Syrian adventure, the outwardly cheerful Irish scenario and of course the bombastic finale! Love it to this day, replayed it several years ago, followed by the second one which I also adore! What a lovely surprise! Twice now you've played games that shaped my childhood! I'm curious if other games will pop up, ones I cannot see getting remastered. Very excited to watch this!
Yeah, this game is absolutely brilliant! It is so well-written, with so many iconic lines, and what I really appreciated playing it this time was how insanely funny it is. The humor in the game is just right up my alley 😂 Haha, I'm happy to be able to surprise you, and awesome that we share this game! I hope you liked the video!

Let me share two more memories from my childhood, well before I could speak English. After enraging Arto, I was certain Ultar would kill us if we clicked on the phrase, so I never did. The second was clicking on the buzzer when talking with Nico, which I thought was an innocent hand shake. Her cold refusal made me think it was impolite to shake hands with ladies.
Broken Sword's soundtrack is CRIMINALLY underrated. That opening music sting alone was enough as a kid to tell me "yeah, this game is going to stick with you forever"

Omg! I still have my Broken Sword: The Shadows of the Templars for PlayStation 1. I remember getting stuck in a particular area where it seemed bugged on console. It's such a great game.
Playing through the remaster myself these days (me and my brother played the first two games who knows how many times), one of the best adventures I have ever played.
Oh cool! I didn't know that you're a Broken Sword Fan too. I love this game with all my heart. It's a big part of my childhood. The first game will always be my favorite. And I'm so excited for the sixth game (haven't heard anything about that for a while now..). These games have a special charm. George and Nico are just awesome characters, very well written. Also almost everything I know about the Templars is because of this game. I'm not too fond of the second game.. Just because of the writing, George was so rude sometimes, and some jokes felt forced. But I agree, I want that game to get reforged too! Congrats to get the platinum trophy (I failed, because I didn't let Nico talk too the painter three times or something at the Site de Baphomet)! And thanks for another great video. If you'll ever make more Broken Sword videos, I'll watch them right away. :)

I agree, this game is so well-written. I love so many characters from it, and it's also extremely funny. I keep noticing new little details, every time I play it. Regarding Broken Sword 2, I just adore the whole Central American setting. The bad thing about the game is that it feels somewhat rushed. I think it can be completed in 3 hours or so, it's crazy. But yeah, I really hope it will be reforged too. You can do it, there's a very handy chapter select in the game. Thank you so much, I'm very happy to hear that! Haha, well, if you think about... Tomb Raider and Broken Sword have quite a few similarities. Yeah, I think I got really lucky with the trophy, as I suspect it's only possible to get that dialogue with them in-between the museum robbery and the secret Neo Templars meeting. I think.
@@AxMania I've noticed a lot of UA-camrs that cover TR also drop references to being into Broken Sword, I think the two franchises have a lot of crossover fans.

It's corrupt Silent Hill fans disliking the video because they think you support the remake over the original when you specifically said that you did not play the original game and that the remake was your first Silent Hill game. Yet, people in the comments section were still bashing you for playing it, and you didn't even know why! The whole situation was so unnecessary and dumb! 😭

Not gonna lie if they remake BS2 (which they should) I kinda wish they would re-record Nico's lines with the original voice actress as the actress they used for that games really didn't sound right, as good of a job as she did it was too dissimilar to the iconic original.

This remaster is one of the most decent applications of AI upscaling/generation I've seen yet. It is also a "good" twin to the "evil" Director's Cut.
