- It was only a month ago that we were walking the shores of Perth in Western Australia. This is one of the finest cities we have been to. During our four days we take you on a wine tour, visit Fremantle and come face to face with Australia 2 and that famous keel. We absolutely love the museum, such an inspiration!
We visit Rottnest island, what a beautiful island! So organised as well, they have a bus that’s takes you all the way around, we walked most of the way and loved the white sandy beaches and the blue water.
Dreaming about being back in the big blue!

A little bit about us...
We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream!
Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia.
We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way.
Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is!
As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream.
We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.
I know everyone needs a break from UA-cam, but I hope you haven't quit. I hope you are both doing well, and I hope to see more videos in the future.

Thank you guys! No, we are not quitting at all, we are just reorganising life to be able to go back sailing.
We have sold the barge and will be buying another catamaran soon. We will keep making videos but a few changes on the format.

Hey guys you did well with your brief trip around Perth. I am 74 years old and was born in Perth. My wife and I lived in country New South Wales for a couple of years, have travelled to may countries around the world and, over the last 6 years or so, travelled over 90,000 kms with our camper trailer around Australia. But, as your vid showed, Perth is just too good to leave permanently. I now do my “overseas travel” on UA-cam - you are not the only sailing channel I follow. I now cycle around the river (Swan and Canning) 3 times a week (33 km each ride) and have the river beside me the whole way - on purpose built pathways. What more could a person possibly want?
