Ive been going back and forth with the black loulou with either the gold or silver hardware. I really want it be a year round everyday bag. I never thought about the taupe but Seeing it now I feel like it’s definitely a bag that will be used year round and will go with everything. I’ll definitely ask my sales associate and see if they have this color to show me as well!
I’ve been reaching for the taupe lots this summer - it’s nice to have a lighter option than black leather bag. But I can see me using it a lot in the winter too when I’m wearing heavy black coats!

I like my crossbody bags to sit a bit higher (above my hip), so I actually think it’s a little too long for my preference. So at 5’5” I think it could work well for you. Chase Amie has some great videos reviewing the small Lou Lou and I think she’s about your height, if that helps!

I find the colour really easy going - I wear a lot of black and it goes really well. But it definitely goes well too with most other colours I wear. It’s for sure an everyday bag for me! I also prefer the darker tone vs the beige, because I don’t want to stress about colour transfer.

Can’t go wrong with either choice! I think silver is more casual, so can be more versatile for day and night.

I haven’t seeing dark beige in person, but based on other UA-cam videos, I’d say taupe is darker, and a bit more of a pink undertone
