- After a few weeks of hard work I finally meet the rotary man himself Mike Vargas from Angel Motorsports. He will be building the 13b S5 engine out of my rx7. Talk about good timing, he came down to Florida to take his rotary pick up truck to Cleetus and cars and stopped by the shop to do this amazing collab at the same time. make sure to follow his channel at / @angelmotorsports

I'll never own a rotary but they're some of the most interesting engines ever.
I bet there are a lot of people like me who are paying close attention to every detail of these Vargas builds but never plan on building a rotary.

The power level sounds beautiful but you have to remember the FC cannot fit meaty tires under the back fenders unless you do a wide body kit. Amazing having 500 horse power but if you can only fit 235's on the back youll never harness all that power.

8:06 i might sound noob but if i remember right you can use those useless ports to drill a hole and make it semi pp? Yes it isnt just drilling a hole it is way more precise work but it was just simple demonstration. (sry shit english im from finland) Just wondering that at what rpm does semi pp idle at and would you recommend it over half bridge or big ass streetport. We in finland dont have to worry about emission on rotaries and 2 stroke but noise is still a thing and for the yearly inspection you have to put some restrictions on it or just alot of mufflers and resonators etc so it isnt too loud
