Thanks Monsville! Yes, I am home now, so I can fully test my new locomotives again, really enjoying the sound and lights on this model! Thanks for watching!
@@SPSteve yes indeed, Athearn is one of the best at doing fallen flag schemes on modern day locomotives! I'm also interested to see what Scaletrains cones up with in their new Hypotipical line as well. Thanks for watching!
Not gonna lie, that thing is 🔥. Looks really amazing and sounds outstanding. I know you’ll be having fun with this one whenever you go to the club. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, I'm definitely going to have fun with this one, Kyle, and I've got the perfect locomotive to pair it with (and I think you might know which one it is)! Thanks for watching!
That is such a awesome review you did on this locomotive I mean the paint scheme on this looks very crisp on it and for me fantasy schemes are awesome. Athearn does a great choice on it.
Thanks Matt, and yeah, this is a very nice locomotive, Athearn really does a great job with these fantasy schemes, they're some of my favorite locomotives. Thanks for watching!
@@kcgrailgilbert8466 don't worry, there will be more videos coming, although not necessarily new locomotives at the moment, but some freight car and older model reviews!
Yeah, me too, Jenny! And to top it off, it's the version with the large "flying" Rio Grande logo, and it's a fantasy scheme to boot! That's what I call a win, win, thanks for watching!
No Mars light on this locomotive, just ditch lights. Had Rio Grande lasted into the SD70 era, I figure this is actually a good representation of what they might have looked like as by this time, the era of mars/gyra lights had pretty much ended on class one railroads with all new road power being equipped with ditch lights by this point. Thanks for watching.
hello Randall & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Randall & Friends Randy
Thanks Randy!
Beautiful locomotive. Detailed review. Thanks for sharing !
No problem, thanks for watching!
Looks great Randall.
Lights, sound and slow rolling.
Awesome.
Hope that you're home by now.
Stay safe and happy modelling

Great review. Good looking locomotive. Paint scheme is terrific 😊
Thanks, man! It's definitely a looker!
Looks nice. I'm glad Athearn does the Legendary Liveries, it's a great way for fallen flag fans to have current power on our layouts.

Fantastic and brilliant looking loco. Another great review, Randall!
Thanks Anthony!
Very thorough review as usual Randall. It's a beautiful locomotive. The lighting details on the current generation of locomotives is incredible.
Thanks, and yeah, we've come a long way since the days of incandescent bulbs and one body style fits all schemes! Thanks for watching!

Cool review Randall. I think Athearn has taken the right approach and give the modeler a choice of real or fantasy to model.
Couldn't agree more, JD! These are perfect for those who want to keep their favorite fallen flag running into the modern day! Thanks for watching!
I like the Rio Grande athrean Genesis sd70 ho scale locomotive!
Thanks, Ethan! It is a pretty sweet piece, thanks for watching!
