I did the cut away to fit a SENA. On both the 104 and 100-5 I was able to install the SENA after cutting a slot in the lower ring. As far as noise goes, I found that on the 100-5 if you tighten the neck roll it will quiet the wind noise quite a bit.
I dont know if its the same with this lid but on my N87 the eyeglass relief was actually a removeable piece of foam in the cheek pad, you have to remove the liner first and then peel the removeable section out. Other than that, great review.
Just got one . Nice fit and a sturdy feel to it . The only thing missing that I’ve had on all other helmets is the d-ring on the strap for securing to my bike . ( unless I’m missing something)
Good evening "Big Cheese" another note worthy review. Don Vito, was very impressed with the new Nolan 100-5. His question to you is the current price for the Helmet? Cheers, Mate.
MSRP ranges depending on paint scheme, $439.95 - $459.95. If you hover around like a vulture and exercise patience, it can be found cheaper. eBay for the risky bargain hunting buyer. Sizing seems comparable to other sizings. However, recommend trying for fit in a store front. If they haven't all been burnt down...
In general modular are noisy. I would take a test ride with this one. I think you'll be pleased for a modular. Closing the top vent quiets it down even more.
I've had one for two years now and I ride with touring earplugs and it's definitely not that noisy and listening to podcasts and audiobooks is easy. People who've called me haven't complained either.
This helmet doesn't perform its best behind a lot of wind screens. I've never had a chin bar mech brake on these, but if they do I don't know what assistance you would need removing it.
Hello! Lightweight helmets are good. The inner shield is convenient. Yes. The opening/closing lever of the inner shield is a little small. Overall a very comfortable helmet! !! Great review! Thank you my friend (^^)/
What size did you get? I normally take a large in most helmets and find my Nolan 104 a bit too roomy. I find it interesting that Nolan has a "large" marked with 61cm. That's pretty big for a large.

Thank you for the update . Much appreciated
You bet.

That is the first time I see an adjustable sun shield. I no a few people that own a Nolan and they really like it.
Hei! What about the noise level compared with the Nolan N104-Evo? Thanks.
nice video!
what's the colour of this helmet?
after one year what's your opinion?

Thanks for the review my head size is between on Nolan's size chart 57 should I get the small or the medium any help thanks
Best option, try them on in a store. If I had to guess, I might go for the size larger. In this case the medium.
Hi thanks for the review, can you comment on the level of wind/riding noise?

100 degree temp? Ventilation behind a wind screen? If the chin bar mech broke could you still pull the helmet off of your head? Thanks

Medium.
@@nwroadrat Dude, save the one-word answer and give me some context.
Light? I thought this lid comes over 1800 gramms. That would NOT be light.
Any idea on the price ?
