- Enough about the meaningless Silent Hill theories that don't matter. Boiler explosion? Singular dimension? None of it matters, friend, and there is no point in wasting your time debating whether or not these theories hold water. What really matters is the most important theory of all: The Henry hates chocolate milk theory. I mean, he's been trapped in his room for 5 days and never once touched his chocolate milk. Then he just gives it to Jasper. Really, the only possible explanation for this series of events is simple; Henry hates chocolate milk.

I kinda fumble over my words a lot in this video, like at 1:51:48 I meant to say "...as Eileen and a ghost watches..." not "...as Henry and a ghost watches..." but this video is more about the gameplay than commentary.
I've seen "take the paper cutting knife on One Weapon Mode for a challenge" on various sites and forums over the years (notably on silenthillmemories.net) but I've never actually seen anyone do it. Anyway, since that "challenge" sounds easy as shit I decided to go one step above :) This may seem a little pointless, but shoutouts to Espectro625 and DrewStraight for being the only two people I could find who did glitchless 10 star runs of this game; everyone else (me included) skipped building world 2nd time. DrewStraight got a really good time, and Espectro625 got the escape ending!

56:13 This is inaccurate, laying down a holy candle while wearing a saint medallion isn't any faster than just using one or the other.
I'd love a mod for this game where all is dark and Henry has to use a flashlight
The chocolate milk could have expired just before Henry was locked in. He probably would have consumed it eventually though, as only the milk and wine bottle were the only things left in the fridge at the start of the game. Given how wacked out Jasper was, I doubt he would have cared that much if the chocolate milk was bad.
Another great playthrough though!
I love this game so much, it was the first Silent Hill I played and (imo) the scariest. I've been watching all your videos on it and I really appreciate your attention to detail (flavor text, rare scenes) during your playthroughs.
1:51:30 gave me the mental image of Henry carefully placing the candles on the cake while the ghost birthday boy Eric intently supervises to make sure it's up to his standards
1:38:00 I like defeating the twins either by luring them back to behind the engine one at a time or leaving Eileen behind in the adjacent room and taking them on all at once.
That is super slow and incredibly not ideal for a 10 Star run.

13:34 Walking doesn’t make them charge at you unless they’re already aggro’d (running then walking doesn’t stop them until they charge/de-aggro). If you bump into them or get too close they’ll still attack but won’t hunt you down mercilessly. I don’t bother to walk until you revisit the worlds when you lose the health regen in your apartment. Especially the pet shop in building world lol
I totally forgot this game had a rank system until last week. Great run.
SH4 gets a ton of crap for its gameplay, but its story IMO is on par with the previous 3 games.
Also I actually like the combat (when you aren't facing the flying ones).
4’s story is much much better than 3’s. in fact, looking back on 3’s narrative i think it was actually quite ridiculous or dare i say stupid.
i still love how goofy it is though.

How do you know that bottle of chocolate milk was the only one he had though? Maybe Henry has been surviving on chocolate milk for the past five days and he just rinses the empty bottles out and saves them in his cupboard. Henry wouldn't have bought chocolate milk if he didn't like it.

All the Silent Hills are my favorites, but if I was forced to choose I would say SH4 is my favorite.
@@RuminInLove Yeah, I love 4. Sucks so many people hate it though which is why I put off playing it for so many years. Sure it is definitely different than previous titles, but it holds up real well. The first person view, story, horror, and gameplay is all great imo. Such a brutal game too with the electrocution and immolation scenes plus the organ harvesting shit. I mean that was just nuts watching a person being tortured like that. I also love Eileen even though she’s annoying 💕 For so many years sh2 was my ride or die, but now Idk. Some reason I just can’t bring myself to play it while I still play the other games. In some ways 1 is my favorite just cause of how amazed I’am with the work team silent did with the ps1 hardware 😅Why is 4 your favorite?
@@jackkrauser2361 I go over why I love it in my tier list video, but the keep it short it's my favorite because all the gameplay elements (Eileen, ghosts, hauntings, inventory management) make it the most replayable to me.
Jesus you are The best player I have ever seen. U showed us some usefulness of 6 irons and etc....
And that's when we use one weapon mode with an unuseful weapon. Can you just tell us of differences in these breakable weapons.?

Jesus I killed my self and I got 10 star in 1:53 hour. What the hell on earth should I do to stop timer?
Using the escape button in pc version does stop time?
Or looking at inventory box in Henries room?

Looking at the pause menu, map, and inventory chest pauses the in-game timer.

There are 7 I guess. Many if them in hand of monkeys in last part of the second building world
I don't need any specific amount, I just need as many as I can to be safe. "You need 3" nope, that's suicide. It only takes 3 to kill Walter but you can never be too safe.
