The only thing this tutorial is missing is that it appears that (at least on my version of after effects) one needs to pre-compose the glitch solid for this effect to work

My question is...How do I make it appear for just a second. I don't want it to keep glitching thru out my entire clip. thx
@@LDucon Make a copy of the same clip before exporting to AE in Premiere..once you have made the glitched version then place it under the one which isn't . Now you can delete the portion where you want the glitch from the copied one.

yeah, you could either increase the evolution and bring the keyframes closer or you could click on the glitch effect layer and enable time remapping and bring the last key frame closer or apply a time stretch and make it around 50

What if I have a glitch package that I bought am I able to mask it in rather than creating one?
Awsome tutorial exactly what i need :-) However i can't seem to find how to easiest make this happen only at certain times, tried opacity but doesn't seem to wanna work
Finally found something that seem to work, opacity under the evolution tab, there are like 400 different opacity's everywhere xD well well :-D as long as i can make it do the job ;D Thanks mate!

try to pre composse your glitch and mask before u put effect, then u don't need that scroll

I export the glitch effect with a couple different types of glitches. Then, I will overlay those videos over the original video in Premiere Pro. You can then bring them in or out whenever you want.

deletes everything outside of the rotobrush/mask everytime i add displacement map. very annoying.

There is no glitch effect on displacement map layer
this was amazing but..my glitch thing isnt moving..its just a non moving glitched up screen, i followed everything but its not working..
