The reviving befallo is great but as you said getting it this late is kinda pointless but still very useful hopefully they make it more accesable early game
I just started playing again after a long break, and I kinda love that void walking is gone 🫣 I like the whole "dang it, it wasn't the right tentacle" thing for some reason 🤭 But I hate that you can't place fossils next to walls anymore 😶🌫️ I have no idea how the moonstone event is supposed to be done solo with characters that don't have crowd control now 😭 Are you supposed to put so very many walls around it that they don't have time to break it before you kill them? 😅
Seeing as they added a new genuine nightmare creature for the fist time since the return of them, I hope they take the time to expand the idea of nightmare creatures and insanity in general at some point, fighting the same two nightmare creatures over and over again every time you go insane is extremely tedious, not to mention we still don't have an aquatic variant of the crawling horror, it literally just runs over the ocean. They also really need to overhaul the way you get nightmare fuel, the mere existence of nightmare creatures forces you to massively inconvenience yourself no matter how you deal with them. If you don't manage your sanity in some way then you are literally always going to be fighting nightmare creatures, there's nothing more annoying then dropping everything you're doing randomly to fight nightmare creatures for thirty seconds on a regular basis, but you also need the nightmare fuel they drop in massive amounts to simply make the gears turn during the mid game, so if you aren't letting yourself go insane regularly then you're going to suddenly realize at some point that you just don't have enough nightmare fuel, and at that point getting more is going to be even more of an inconvenience

We’re lucky we get new content all the time. So what they patched out a glitch it’s not supposed to be there isn’t literally a glitch
I really think they should reimplement voidwalking in the same way that they reworked the Ancient Guardian, people would just cheese it by getting it stuck behind the pillars, and so Klei said "Oh you guys like cheesing Ancient Guardian so much? Well you don't get to cheese it anymore because that's how you're supposed to fight it now" and now the fight is actually awesome. They should add a post Fuelweaver shadow craft that allows you to do something similar, maybe something that turns you into a swarm of bats like the shadow bishop and rapidly drains your sanity as fuel
My problem is that the tentapillars simply suck. The only way to tell if it's the correct one is by defeating and entering it, and granted this is a skill issue but I always forget which tentapillar is the correct one

Its much better that Keli improves a concept and works on it than you find workarounds that not everyone will use. People that say everything was fine and didnt need to change were ignoring the intended gameplay and content to make their lives easier ofc they'll hate the change. so yeah, id rather they rework the annoying parts than someone walk past them and say its all good. Right now the caves suck, and idk why they felt the need to make them harder and more challenging when most people still find it daunting to even explore the caves let alone go to the ruins and get zapped by 10 bishops that decided to spawn right next to each other.
You just demonstrated that you can still voidwalk with godmode. You are already cheating anyway, now you have to press a button two times to do it, how terrible. I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, but the moment you abuse bugs or install mods you are already putting your ideas of how the game should work over the developers ones. If you want to use voidwalking, go ahead, but don't complain that you have to cheat for your cheat to work.

They just updated the atrium tentapillar to be a setpeice in the green mushroom biome. I feel like this mostly makes up for removing voidwalking
i think youre underselling the life steal of the shadow maul, you can tank Dfly without any armour
