Have to admire a man that gets a lift before the garage,
Buy lift , work and save, build shop .
As a contractor I can say that this pretty unorthodox building tactics but I will also say if it keeps you and your stuff out of the rain it can’t be wrong.
I definitely just winged it lmfao 🤣
You’re like every guy in earth. You outgrew your shop while it was being built. We can NEVER have a big enough shop. When you get tight on room, just add onto it. Good job doing this on a budget!
I already did expansion and i out grew that too lmfao
Pretty awesome you can visualize the process before getting to it. I got that same gift. doctor told mama it was adhd 😂
I mean i gots the adhd too lol
It's you guy's super power 😂
@@hititholdit8456 Hahahahaaa now if only we could visualize making a ton of money... We haven't mastered our super powers yet :(
Great work! I know what it's like. I started with a small 100 square foot shed and just slowly worked my way up to a 30'x40' pole barn.🙂
Makes it mean so much more 🤟🤟
Shop turned out nice at the end , that was a lot of work but well worth it - good job guys 👍🇺🇸
Exactly what I need. Love it dude. Good job. Nice having friends
World is a bit easier place with em lol
Super clean for the win. Shop looks great man
You needee to put some Kill Rust The paint able kill rust and black the fram out
Yea that wouldve been smart
You should change your channel name to "But um yeah"
Or so yeah
After I seen this comment, I could not stop hearing it
Yeah? 😆 🤣
Jeez it's all I can hear now !!!!!!!!!
Butt yeah 😮
Hell yeah! Thats awesome! I did steel work years ago and the only difference in this and a storage unit is c-channel instead of angle iron for the uprights!
Yea i was worried about the angle iron compared to the better option of c channel but it definitely worked out once done
Great job my friend turn out great I like to use old tin for stuff like that. It just makes it look so much better. I love the way it turned out.
Definitely a fan of industrial look used tin gives
Super impressed with how you re-used materials. Big tip. Watch that foam and sparks/flame. Some of that stuff will
Go up like a firecracker. I miss my 12’ two post lift. You will have plenty of project space there.
I actually did try and light some of the foam in fire it was definitely something i gave thought too... the white foam is pretty resistant to fire but does melt just takes lot to light on fire... but sray foam idk if i ever tested 🤔
@@Garageless that’s good. Not
All is super flammable. You must have the good kind. Good think you checked it.
Thus far nothing has caught fire from negligence lol it has caught on fire from welding right next to it on the building... one thing i did find out was brake clean melts the foam though lol
I AGREE BRO! garage is different from shop.... especially if you have both... lol😂😂😂
Looks awesome! 2 post lift shop, that should be every mans dream.
🤟🤟
Thank you for posting this!
Not just clean, Super Clean. Love that stuff sign me up for the giveaway lol
Made one like this way bigger with all wood worked out great
lol
Yes, the concrete will crack eventually... However, YOU can easily be the one who decides where it cracks. Cutting some relief joints (> or = to 1/3 of the pad thicknesses) will promote the inevitable cracks propensity to follow the path of least resistance (which will now be directly below your cut joint) rather than somewhere less desirable like where the lift posts reside. While I've certainly encountered situations where cracking occurred elsewhere, it's incredibly rare. I operate various concrete cutting equipment for a living and this method is the industry standard. You're best move on any future pours will be to make your cut asap while it's still curing. This lessens the chance of it occurring elsewhere and is a lot easier than after it's fully hardened. 🍻
Thus far all good.. but ik it could in the future still
You put up walls right where that guy liked to commute 😂
😂😂
Super clean is the shit!
Facts
Thanks for sharing!
this is awesome and inspiring as hell! Great work!
🤟🤟
Nice job man! Can tell that took a lot of hours and hard work. Not a single part of that whole process looked easy.
Definitely lots of time into it but it was so worth it lol
kool .id love to do that gor my friend that has worked on peoples cars for 25 yrs and has rented ..thats awesome
Nice, so cool.
Media and media boxes should be in their own little box where you wear a respirator 24/7 so your shop isnt contaminated bc that shtuff is deadly but shop looks great
For all that work you did , I think it would be a good idea to make a little dog house for the media box and media storage .
Supper clean is the shit
Great build! Was that a porcupine? Above bay door ways & eaves would look great with frankensteined recycled house or commercial windows. Green glass if you can find it Get your natural light. No aluminum. Try wood or steel frames. Old buildings throw em out all the time. Hit up your small local window installer. Habitat Resale sometimes gets stuff to ugly for home dropped off too = Cheap or Free. A video on rough make up of a pulley chain & crank openers would get hits too. Could probably do something up with used bike chains & sprockets. Weld mount on frame using worn our springs or leaves to flex for temp changes. Youre still Garageless, but now you're Shop Full.
Great work!! You gave me some great ideas and inspiration on doing something. I'm so sick of working and laying on ground,in snow ect. I was going to buy a pre made shed /garage but tgen I can't do a lift. Doing it your way will be more efficient for myself to make money and won't be on ground still.
Yea gotta get creative to make the dreams come true lol 🤟🤟
Never seen anyone build the shop around the lift! Doesn’t seem like a bad idea!
Lift was the priority lol
Great Video DYI
🤟🤟
Great video!!
This is inspiring thank you.
Awesome stuff man. God bless and stay humble.
🤟🤟
Nice shed
One day I'll look back and laugh is my saying and with that determination you will to nice shop bro
Shop has been awesome thus far 🤟🤟
I love to see young people do it on there own somehow some way good luck to you from Texas
Nice, insparational.
Lots of respect for building your own shop. It turned out sick! 🤘 You don’t have a garage but have a pretty badass shop. I think I need to email superclean to see if they have a banner for me. 🤔
Yea definitely need ya a banner 😉 building a shop is just like cars but more square lol
straight up inspirational, I love it. Also, Ive definitely seen your car at Automotion lol
I live in dells so im there every year 🤟🤟
That's awesome! I just built my first shop, kinda like this except I put a 40ft container on each side. Kind have a condensation problem now. Waiting til summer to spray foam insulate it. Wanna make a oil drum wood stove for heat. Wana make a video of problems you ran into and solutions you came up with?
I wish i could've used containers... yea i still have condensation issues thinking about throwing humidifier in
"click clacking of the horses from the AYEMISH" KILLED ME ⚰⚰
side note it feels like im watching fallout 76 camp building in the best way
The end product is awesome
The expansion was worth the work too!
Nice shop with used parts.
Gotta b creative when your not rich
"But uh yeah", i cant count high enough to know how many times that was said
But yeah, about that many times 😂🤣😂🤣
Its cool your grandparents said you could have the old shed lol you have a lift and that's better than me i was saying last night I would be doing things if I had your set up
Your lucky, Up here have to jump through hoop building has to 50lb snow load 115 mph wind has to being engineered, drawing required inspections. a permit for that size building would be 2k. i lost a 88 x 60 pole building doe to a tornado 5 years ago cant replace it cost way to much now.
Just subbed I like it
Much Respect 🤜💥🤛.. 💯 Support You Guys 🏁🇺🇸🏁

🤟🤟
super clean actually works good there are others that work just as good but the price is higher so yeah super clean wins =D
Definitely happy with the outcome for sure... been awesome so far
Badass
6” slab is fine!! That structure doesn’t weigh enough to worry about.
Im sure it weighs good amount being 1/4 angle but id imagine thats light still
Congrats
I might have missed it but where did you come across so much decent scrap steel? Love your can-do-it attitude!
My grandparents... my grandma worked at a cheesefactory that had a fire and they replaced all there racking due to it and my grandma bought the racking from company for 50$!
@@Garageless bargain and way to be resourceful. Thanks granny!
Yea definitely wouldnt have been able to do it without so many peoples help
@@Garageless WOW, your grandma is a smart woman. fifty... WOW
You can find videos on UA-cam of people building their “dream shops” where money doesn’t seem to be and issue which is good for them if they earned the money. I like yours as it is an example of a can do with what you have attitude.👍
Dam this is dope bro🔥
🤟🤟
If you just work on Hondas and small trucks that are sub 5000lbs I bet you’ll be okay with that slab. If you’re regularly working on heavier rigs with that lift I would dig out where you have your posts and pour a really deep concrete pad just for your lift posts.
Its 9k lift no diesel can be lifted with that lift what i poured was actually more than it called for
If your planning on any significant welding grinding inside you should face the foam at least to head level with something that is NOT flammable. After all that work would hate to see you burn it down with a grinder!
Rock on!
I cannot stress enough that spray foam is an insulator not a sealant..
Yeah. Should've tarred or bondo before. Gonna grow mold.
Not the budgeting video i thought it would be. Nice lift tho
Dont count the lift lol the more resourceful you are the cheaper it can b
I didn't know maxpeeding rods did a lift, I'm gonna have to check it out
Lol they dont i just stuck that on there 😂
@@Garageless oh okay, I know they've been expanding a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if they did
I have been working on plans for a garage... I want to make as big as possible for cheap as possible
Look into pallet garages/ shops
But…ahhhh …Yeah 😂
for the 375th time in this video
But um yea it do b like that sometimes lmfao
insulate the roof as it will loose the most heat
Definitely happening next year lol it gets toasty in it but it definitely looses heat
Its not big, but damn is it nice! goodluck with your projects, u got a new subscriber!
The expansion really helped with space
This was two years ago lol I’m sure you realized the ceiling needs insulation too
Let the haters say what they want to say, If they dont like it, they can either come build you a better shop or shut their pie hole. I just hope you are using something heavier than 10 ga wire to run 220 out to the shop. !0 ga is not big enough and you will have problems with it. You need 4 or 6 ga at least to be safe. But good job on the shop, have fun with it.
Pretty sure i used 8 guage no issues yet
But uhhh yeah, nice garage
Its a shop lol 😉
my uncle built his massive shed in the 80's by my guss rn he as about 20 cars packed in the back of it and in the shop area in the front he has 4 cars they are all 50's 60's and 70's land yacht's and I asked him a few years ago how much total he paid for the whole building when he first put it up. he told me it costed him 600 bucks the main cost was the framing. he gave a dude a rack of beer for the metal sheeting for the roof and the walls. dont get me wrong its not insulated and the front half where he has his lifts is concrete and the rest is dirt. if I remember correctly he didnt put concrete in until atleast the early 2010's. only reason I remember that because my cousin got cracked off of 3 monsters to get the concrete done which I dont blame my uncle doing that because they mixed all the concrete 1 bag at a time and they needed to do it before it set lol
nice 💪
Nice
🤟🤟
This garage can be used for tornado shelter
🤣🤣
are you just now reviewing this. They have been doing this since the start.
Bump
Nice shop love it want to do one myself. What's the overall size of yours?
15x20
@@Garageless ok thanks
To clarify, this is not a shop! It’s a half shop lol
Thats why theres a part 2 😉
So he literally used a speed square with roof pitch scale on it, while just winging it and guessing?!
Its science lmfao 🤣
Do you realize that the little blue triangle is called a square & is designed for marking roof angles as well as many other angles. You were so close.. try watching a you tube videos on how to use a speed square. Either way ur entertaining me so keep it up man
Im not the brightest especially with numbers and math and such lmfao 🤟🤟
I wanna build a shop any ideas to get the stuff
Search marketplace or look for run down buildings and ask owners if they want it torn down... thats how i got my tin
must be somewhere where no codes required
Yea i just needed zoning permit
Have to change the channel name
To i have a shop?
Size of the shed?
15x20 was this first part... the expansion in part 2 was an additional 20x24
Gotta change the channel name now haha
Its a shop not a garage 😉
I haven't even watched the video but I know that's BS because that lift is worth more than two grand alone used
Thats not part of the shop cost lol doge coin paid for that
Can't really say anyone can, but you can build pad & shop for $2k.....
Where did u get the lights from
www.amazon.com/dp/B08QTR23YZ/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_apa_gl_i_dl_1QNB84NW3ENE0ZJETQXJ?linkCode=ml2&tag=stephenbunger-20
The rainbow is Gods promise not to flood the earth again so probably not the brightest to refer as a "GD rainbow".
🤣🤣🤣
what size is this?
First bit is 15x20 expansion is an additional 20x24
@@Garagelessrecently i done my concrete slab 25’x20’ and now i can see how bigg gonna be my garage
@@Garagelessi think use one side for car repair and other side for wood shop
So, um, but, uh, yeah. Good job. But, uh, yeah.
😂😂😂
You need a des
Decorater pain the spray the metal on the wall put two tall shelve units. Then burn it 😮😅
Change the name to "BUT UM YEAH", you say that once every time you speak.
But um yeah... it do b hard to try and form sentences lol same reason i cuss my brain cant keep up with my mouth lol
Not really lol mine is cause it's free ....I not done yet an it not 12ft tall either but I building it from scratch with free wood that was different sizes my uncle an dad an few friends gave me that was going to trash
But a yea. Was the only thing that killed it🤦🏼♂️for me. And didn’t watch it all through sorry
Yea adhd brain do be like that sometimes lol i build things not so much a social butterfly lol
Is your name Mr.Um
Um idk 🤷♂️ but um mayb 🤟🤟
Omg I have to stop watching!! I’m dizzy
But uh yeah ... but uh yeah ..you remind me of a teenage girl with the um um um.. 😂😂
