I can't tell you how many times I've watched this. I'm on the shady side of 60 . I purchased Microsoft 10 and all of the stuff I knew how to do before has changed, adjusted or just plain old isn't there anymore. Your tutorials are FANTASTIC! It explains EVERYTHING I want to know. I just need to digest it in my head. I am a subscriber. Keep up the wonderful video tutorials. BTW You'll see other comments from me right here. Yep. There I am, down below saying pretty much the same thing.

Can you soften the transition between slides (at the moment your transitions are instantaneous; I woud prefer fade out/in)?
Been using 10 since shortly after it came out but never knew you could do these things. Thanks. My iPhone is in sync with edge and my pictures and videos automatically uploads to edge photos. Didn't know it was doing this until the other day when I accidentally click on edge photos and saw pictures that I haven't uploaded yet to another photo program I've been using. Have a question. Does edge photo have a place to edit movies I have taken with my iPhone and how would I upload them to Facebook? Hope you have a video on this.

I am really enjoying using the Photos App and making slideshows, however the pictures in my finished slideshow appear blurry event though the original pictures are not blurry when accessed through the file explorer and opened in the app. Can you help me sort that out. Did they reduce the resolution of the photos when they are used in a video slideshow?

One thing I would like to know is how to "Select All" within the Storyboard section.
I decided to make a long video with many (125) pictures, but wanted every single image to be displayed for the full 7 seconds, but i had to click every single one of the pictures to select them all to change the duration of all of them to the same duration.

Is there a specific PC software I need to have access to MS photos?
Is there a way to begin custom audio for a few seconds and then the first image sappears? And after a few more seconds the second image and so on?

Thanks this was helpfull! But, I do miss the option to mass-select a whole bunch of pictures to the same duration. So if I want to add 100 pictures, I have to single-click duration on every one? Just can't seem to figure out how to mass-select all and set duration to 7 sec....

Is there a FIT TO MUSIC feature like Windows Movie Maker used to have? I have one song file and 26 photos I'd like to equal out automatically without having to edit the seconds of each photo view which is long tedious work. I just want simple, not complicated. If I have to manually set the photos myself, it's not worth using this then. Windows should've considered adding FIT TO MUSIC feature since Microsoft was the one who made Windows Movie Maker. Doesn't make sense, the photos are not matching up to the length of the song.....or it's extending the song by 30-40 seconds over.

that was helpfull and im going to use it straight away, only have 1 question, i want all my slides to have the same duration but i have 299 slides and to do it individually is mammoth is there any shortcuts for that?
it used to be possible to select all in photoshop elements 6, (very old, but very good!) so i'm hoping this is the case here!!
Highlight (select) all of youor slides. Then Right click and choose duration. Then set the time and it will be applied to all slides.
how do i play the vide on loop?

My "photos" looks completely different. I don't even have the export option.
All I want to do is advance the pictures manually. We returned from Africa and have 40 pictures … I want to create an album, and advance it manually. I can' t figure out how to do that. .

No reflection on your video but I have to say this program is sadly lacking in the ease of editing. The automatic picture duration is not always that good and to adjust manually is diabolical. NO select ALL. So if you want to change the picture duration then EVERY image has to be selected individually to set the time. An absolutely pain in the b…. When there are 40!! 🤬
I abandoned it at 2'45. Looks like there is nothing interesting or new.
Why on earth do they keep changing all the time the way you do things in their software?? Ridiculous.
This is a poor app. It does not allow you to stop and discuss easily. Lots of flashy features but no substance. Microsoft have abandoned good features and photo viewer and added features that are of little interest or use. Not the fault of the presenter but it is of no use to me.
