Adding Music to PowerPoint Presentations - PowerPoint Tutorial

Thank you for this tutorial too! I use a Mac with Word PPS but the principles are the same. Again so easy to follow - you covered everything I needed. I think I've worked out how I would add a second or even a third piece of music to provide variety throughout - by stopping the previous 'sound' on a slide then starting the next in the same way as the first! Thank you for this! I have a presentation done for my Dad. My slides end before all of the songs I wanted to play and I just cant get it right. How do I tell how long the music is so I can adjust the timing of the slides?? I keep adjusting it but when I export to a movie file its never right. Thank you for your help!

If you open the song independently of PowerPoint it should open in some sort of media player on your computer and you’ll be able to see how long this song is.
