- "The Lost Art of Creative Self-Expression: Release the Originality in Your Own Soul" - a lecture by Manly P. Hall, recorded in Los Angeles on December 3rd, 1961.
Over the years of delivering thousands of talks, many of Hall's lectures have similar titles. There is an earlier lecture, "The Challenge of Creative Self-Expression: The Gateway to Contentment"
34:34 is a golden statement.(from comments)
36:18 - "Actually, our kind of living is divided into two basic brackets: the individual who is a victim of life, and the individual who is a victor over life. There can only be two such patterns. Either the person is continually troubled by the circumstances around him, or he is constantly sustained by the resources within him."

If humans around you fail, Manly P. Hall won't let you down. His wisdom keeps me sane.
Praise the soul and pass the silence. 🐝Kind🌸
Bless you for sharing, MPH Society 🙏❤️🙌
Every message is Timeless.
Man I've been thinking about all of this for years!!!! More specifically the lack of creativity and lazy thinking. I genuinely love and am grateful for M.P.H, he has a beautiful mind!
Please discuss my topic with me.
He's savage on this one.
Things have been shifting. We're listening MPH. May we barrel through the bullshit with the force of ten thousand suns
Priceless lecture, enjoyed every single second of it 🙌
Simply beautiful. Thank you.
I've got to say this is by far the most concise, direct, and valuable Manly P Hall lecture I have ever heard!
This one needs to get shared everywhere.
Every lecture feels the same way. You should dig deeper towards any direction you please. He'd spoken of them all.
@@ngnr7794 I've been listening to his lectures for almost 5 years now. He is definitely not the only speaker of such ideas that I enjoy either.
Each of his lectures are enlightening on whichever topic he decides to talk about, I was merely commenting that this one is a particularly pointed one.
The kind that if you are only going to listen to one, listen to this one.
@@DuskHollow Beautiful. Could you tell me the names of a few more such eloquent speakers? Manly Hall is the only speaker I've found at this level of oration and depth in subject. I would love to find more, if any. Pray, let me know?
@@DuskHollow and yes, I understand my misunderstanding.
@@ngnr7794 The two most impactful for me have been Dr Rhondell "Bob" Gibson & Phil Blecker.
Jiddu Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, & Terrance McKenna also bring fascinating perspectives to the table.
Brilliant Lecture! Thank you.
This is sensational. Thank you.
Brilliant!
Thank you for the quality of your audio. These lectures are priceless.
This lecture is very important to each one of us if we want to maintain our humanity into our future lives. Personal creativity is what we were born to accomplish. We leave our mark in the world for good through how we create.
Genius is mostly ignored. People follow popular conventional thinking and talking points.

@@carefulcarpenter spent my whole life searching through mysticism. I was just razzling you.
@@shanebraaten9553 But are you still curious?
Do you still have the courage to be wrong? 😁
God Bless Everyone
At the end I always here Manly say 'Time's Up Bitches' lol 😂
😂😂😂 Lmaoo right.. he does typically say something like “Well..I think that’ll do it”
@@indigolynn4192 we are pigeons in comparison to Manly's knowledge and we are lucky he comes to throw us all bread crumbs still after being gone for so long.
Perfection
The most valuable channel. Thank you for posting these lectures. All of them are priceless, especially today.
Love how this dude said the deepest, realest sh!t, but sounded like John Wayne lol
I was not quite 2 years old when this lecture occurred. Timeless Knowledge and Wisdom from M.P.H!
34:34 is a golden statement.
Thanks 💜

His listing of choices for women's careers is gratingly sexist and dated, but in general I appreciate Hall's philosophical insights and spiritually solid discourse..

Could you imagine what he would have to say about today's society...
Nothing humiliating about saying "I don't know (27:20)", Mr Hall. Overlooking this as a pillar in the entire process of self-expression is hasty.
It is possible Mr. Hall was playing the 'role' of someone who comes up with excuses to avoid saying "I don't know".
@@ManlyHallSociety that sounds right
I have lived a creative and fulfilling life. It is difficult to find anyone interested in thinking beyond the conventional culture.
Synchronistic mathematics.
Discuss?
What is it?
First we can discuss the concept coined by Carl Jung and Wolfgang Pauli (1952). See: "On Synchronicity".
