Most people view the First Council of Nicaea as being Christianity taking over the Roman Empire but I disagree with this idea. In my opinion the Roman State moved from prohibition to regulation in order to control a religion that they failed to destroy. And that is exactly what happened.

Or, after numerous Roman Emperors attempted to eradicate Christianity from the face of the earth, they joined with it to corrupt it and get pagan Roman practices into the church. I'm a former Roman Catholic and all of the rituals are Roman in nature. If one takes a look at symbolism, which is very big in the occult world, one will see all of the symbolism within the Vatican. Especially with how the papal audience hall is designed to look like the head of a snake/serpent.

The whole purpose of the Nicean council was clearly stated by emperor Constantine. "Let, then, all contentious disputation be discarded; and let us seek in the divinely-inspired word the solution of the questions at issue." It was virtually all the bishops, from all the churches come to hammer out disputes in the church at large. Primarily, the Arian controversy and the date calculated for Easter. The Nicean Creed formalized Christian dogma till this day.

Christianity was starting to become popular enough in the Roman Empire (and especially in the lower classes like the poor, the women, the slaves) but also in circles of aristocracy, to the point that Constantine’s own mother was a Christian (while Constantine himself not only was a pagan, he was a high priest with religious duties in the religious life of the empire), but surprisingly, Constantine had a sizeable number of Christians in his own army and actually used Christian symbols FOR his army himself (including the cross and the phrase ΕΝ ΤΟΥΤΩ ΝΙΚΑ). Constantine was baptized a Christian (by an Arian bishop(!)) at his deathbed, but by the time of the Council of Nicea , Christianity was influential and sizeable enough as a religion that the council was needed.

Constantine the great had a different political agenda using Christianity as a method to consolidate the Roman eemourecegich it was divided in 4 different regions and different religions or beliefs systems. Christianity had such dark and ungodly origins with emperor of Rome using the Christian movement who primarily were gnostics and mystical with Jewish context. Yet Constantine introduced idolatry and philosophy wired Greco Romsn remix to use it for their Roman conquest to spread the empire with a new religion regardless if they had to murder people who didn’t want to convert which it is totally against Jesus’s teachings.

  • @chronic_daydreamer
    @chronic_daydreamer 13 днів тому +2

Something that absolutely TERRIFIES a lot of Christians is discovering the truth and origins of a lot of the doctrine that has become “orthodox.” Reading the church fathers’ texts, including and especially Tertullian’s, you discover that the Trinity was still not believed in by many Christians around 100-120 AD. In fact, in Tertullian’s time when he wrote Against Praxeas, you can see in it that the majority of the Christians balked at this new teaching of the Trinity. Even more horrifying to the average modern Christian is learning how the concept of the Trinity developed over FIFTEEN centuries and has no real scriptural basis, and this can be backed up by looking at the original Greek in the so-called “proof texts” of Trinitarian dogma which Sir Isaac Newton himself exposed, along with several other scholars. The Church in Rome even excommunicated entire congregations for keeping the observation of Nisan 14 as Jesus commanded and not folding to the new observation of Easter Sunday a week later. People seem to forget that Jesus, Peter, Paul and John all prophesied about a great apostasy but the average Christian refuses to admit that the apostasy was already developing when the Apostles were still alive. Once they were gone, the church became a tool of Satan and the weeds overtook the wheat. The apostate Council of Nicea had no divine authority. Its authority was purely profane. They were no longer “no part of the world” by that point.

If the Romans infiltrated the church then Jesus is a liar who cannot be trusted because the devil has prevailed against his flock. Because if that is true then our oldest churches (Catholic/Orthodox) are themselves entirely wrong which leaves us no origin to even begin to correct the church because all the church fathers belonged to this one Orthodox (or 2 after schism) denomination. Like the speaker says, all the other texts contradict each other which means confusion. Be mindful of the implications of your statements before you end up giving the flock reason to deny the Gospels all together.

If there's an enemy what a great way to destroy the truth with a man's words. Everyone knows what matters and that's that, an argument based on marginalization of others to promote an idea from our minds. Righteous. This means that the topic of sin and the need to have a sacrificial system within a temple to be saved from gods wrath is pagan.

That's typically what one does in a discussion. It's unfortunate that you don't like the truth of the message or factual history. As a former Roman Catholic who was heavily involved (lecter, EME, asked to consider becoming a Deacon) it is amazing what happens when you start to read Scripture and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (which francis said is "dangerous" at world youth day a few years ago). Have you ever wondered why the Vatican's papal audience hall is designed to look exactly like the head of a snake/serpent? I sure have. Additionally, they teach a false, works-based way of salvation, where one isn't even sure where they will go when they die. The Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4; Romans 10:9-10) couldn't be more clear on how one can receive eternal life, yet a lot of Catholic and Protestant churches deny the power of Jesus Christ.

There was no accepted canon when the council met, so it's impossible that they removed books from it. Your contention that the council met to take the Ethiopian Bible and ban books from it is false. The council wasn't modifying the Ethiopian canon, it was building a new canon from scratch.

Want like I woke up on my birthday October 24 I woke up and my life completely changed I started remembering things from my past and it just all makes sense. I’m talking about my past lives. “The Revelation of Sonmi 451 To be is to be perceived, and so to know thyself is only possible through the eyes of the other. The nature of our immortal lives is in the consequences of our words and deeds, that go on and are pushing themselves throughout all time.
      - Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” You must acknowledge and remember who we are especially right now the comet atlas just past by and everyone started having dreams of catastrophes the end of the world and stuff like that these are memories embedded in our souls that are meant to wake us up not put us deeper into fear

Taking it all in fragments is definitely how to tolerate his unattractive personality. Why do these religious “scholars” always have to be weirdos? Ammon could be his homeboy.

Jesus is God in the flesh who stepped out of eternity and humbled himself to the point of death on a cross to atone for the sins of the world out of love and mercy!
Truth will prevail and is beyond time and understanding.
Islam, Mormonism, Hinduism, Jehovahs Witnesses, Judaism etc.... are all false. Jesus is Messiah and Lord! He is God in the Flesh! He rose on the 3rd day!
Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega! The beginning and the end! The first and the last! He is the Word of God Almighty! He is the Spotless lamb!
God's Word is inseparable from Himself. They're the same being and same essence!

This is strawmanning big time, the “secret wisdom” IS Christ himself
To come to the Father through Christ alone is to acknowledge your Christ nature and embody it
If you think “Gnosticism” is a boogeyman I’d suggest you reconsider it, with appropriate personal discernment from the Holy Spirit
Christians are more often fans of Christ than followers

    • @patrickbarnes9874

Gnosticism isn't a boogeyman. That's giving it too much credit. Gnosticism is just incoherent nonsense.

    • @jacksonelmore6227

@ you’re quick to reject Christ
“Gnosticism” is a pointed word and label Christians use to deny the more metaphysically challenging realities of Christ
The way you say “that’s giving it too much credit” comes off in an unchristlike bad faith and unintellectual way
I’m not defending Gnosticism, yet you’d rebut me as if I am
