@@alexmsevans EXACTLY! Don't think there will ever be a better pair of episodes of any series I've ever watched. Plus, it's rare (in my opinion) for the sophomore season to surpass the first and the Bear def did that shit, made me love characters I never thought I would in the beginning and added even more layers to characters I already did love. Incredible show.

In the episode where the fuse blows Carmy tells Marcus about a time in a restaurant where he set a stove on fire. He said he had a moment where he thought about how he could just let it burn and let the whole place burn down and take all his stress and shit with it, but then he got past that and put it out. I've always interpreted the scene in this episode as Carmy not getting past that moment. He's at the point where it feels like it would be better for it to burn than to keep going.
