I would like to see the analysis of this who never conformed during the experiment, and see their characteristics, personality etc. This could be key to curing modern day conformity

bit of a fuzzy scale, don't ya think? Never is a long time. How do you determine what the significant values are for criteria? I wear t-shirts and jeans most of the time. That conforms to some, and not so much to others, but is it significant in anything other than a fashion experiment, or does it say how I vote, or what soft drink I choose?
I think to be significant and relevant, the subject might need to be emotionally charged or bear some relevance to a clear survival question. Just read the comment section
of some content here. You can get a sense of who the outliers are, and who the experimental confederates are. The experiment is being done all the time here.
They are probably just the disagreeable people on the big 5 scale.
I can promise you I wouldn’t conform, at least not in this case. That’s also why I’m known as confrontational or opinionated. I’m just not gonna lie to myself and others. I’d hate myself too much. My friends would describe me as “highly skeptical”, “anti-authority”, “contrarian”, or “not agreeable”. It’s why some people like me, and it’s why some people don’t. I tend to be the leader within a group, and when others are afraid of speaking out they always ask me to do it for them. That’s seriously one of the themes of my life. It’s a strength and sometimes it’s a weakness bc lots of people don’t want to hear the truth. Anyway, there’s a few traits that might help answer your question.
There’s no cure. You either conform or you’re left out.

As simple as this concept seems, it is a powerful message. To pave a new road takes time and dedication, something lazy people portray as hard or impossible, thus keeping them teathered to herd mentality.

I’m amused by the fact that growing up on a reservation spared me this mentality. Granted I only came upon this study in college. But only my sis, myself and two others disagreed with the teacher’s initial observation. Of course, this makes much more sense in hindsight.

I suspect effect would less pronounced if stooging was not done in person, but via stooge speaking into a microphone out of sight.

I predict effect is proportional to how much the eyes change focus distance or position within individual test sample... if glance made towards annother who is speaking maybe. . Eye movements tend to cause sacadic masking... During which time... Brain not actually seeing what eye looking at, so will do a best guess.
