Israeli medics say three people shot and killed in attack at the West Bank-Jordan border crossing

- Three people have been shot and killed at the Allenby Bridge crossing between Jordan and the occupied West Bank, the Israeli first responders said Sunday.
Israeli police said the shooter was killed, without providing further details.
Allenby Bridge, also known as Karama Bridge, or King Hussein Bridge, is the only crossing point for Palestinians travelling through the West Bank to Jordan and the rest of the world.
Shooting incidents at Allenby Bridge, which is operated jointly by Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority, are rare.
Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim joins us live from Nablus in the occupied West Bank for the latest developments.

I remember being 16 years old and being strip searched on that crossing. My phone was taken...and forced to wait over 12 hours, even though I was taking part in an educational program funded by Harvard, with all my paper work in place. The reason for all that was being my grandparents were Palestinian land owners who had endless land stolen from them to create Israel, and many family members massacred in 1948.
