@@Saidshuaili That's a funny statement, considering the fact that at least in the past decade, UAE has been financing and providing military support to countries where it has interests. Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya, just to name a few. UAE is one of the main financial supporters of Khalifa Haftar.

The question is not how, but why, should any country be expected to provide any kind of viable route to masses of people expecting to be 'cared for' by people who have never been asked and can ill afford to do so.

The question posed by the moderator about why Ukraine is treated differently has simple answers and obvious ones too
1. The worst war right now happening in the world is in Ukraine. Both in terms of the ferocity of the fight and in terms of human casualties.
2. Ukrainians share a common culture with the rest of the European nations. Which makes them easier and less costly to integrate.
3. A large proportion of Ukrainian refugees/immigrants are women and children. Not men. This is in stark contrast with immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa, where the largest proportion of immigrants are young men.
I am from Romania, right next to Ukraine. We host a few tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees and we interacted with them. Most of them were capable enough to get a job less than 6 months. Immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa here take years of accommodation and integration until they become functional members of society. The only exceptions are those who come here legally, through contracts. But then again those are scouted.
And Russia is invading ukraine while ukraine never attacked or treathened russia in anyway. Hamas did attack israel and started the war themselves.
How many people have been killed in Ukraine?
