    So simple thank you!!!! I cant believe I paid someone to do it once and from looking at it I can see he put the filter upside down. Thanks again brother

    Great video, my Lexus dealer charges over $100 to do this job… I purchased a filter on Amazon for under $10 and it took me less than 10 minutes to install it myself with very little difficulty. I have similar experience with the engine air filter on my 2015 Lexus ES 350.

      netman88 I bought my 2013 Lexus ES 350 in April 2019 with only 30,009 miles. I’m the second owner and this is by far the best car I’ve ever owned. Lexus/Toyota dependability and reliability are the best in the auto industry. I’ll be keeping this car for 10+ years changing the oil and tires and regular maintenance. I have it in StarFire pearl white with black leather interior

      @@stephendibari5010 I have a 2017 ES. My opinion as well. Best car I have ever owned.

      @@alanhumphrey4198 turns out 2 years ago I sold that ES350 and bought a 2002 ES300 1 owner for financial reasons. Now I have no car payment and life is much better. 4th Gen ES has the highest build quality. Both ES’s are amazing

      @@stephendibari5010 My 2017 ES just got 50 M service with no problems. Hope to move up to say 2022 in a few years. This car has been a dream..I bought it L certified at end of 2020 with 30 M miles....I don't drive that much.

    You never explained what to do if your new aftermarket filter doesn't say "UP" on it?
    If the filter says air flow on it instead of up then the arrow on the filter element should point down. Air flow direction is down.

    Thanks for teaching it. I have this one 2019. Can I do that with same way?

      Should be similar but I’m not the part number for the filter is the same.

    How do I know when it’s time to change the filter?

    • @netman88
      @netman88  3 роки тому +1

      Depends how often the vehicle gets driven. Normally every 5K miles or so, it's a good idea to check them. Just pull it out and put back in if not dirty.

    The filter is upside down, because Lexus/Toyota airflow goes downward
