What beautiful fish: truly stunning examples of what Nature has provided us. Thanks for being a steward of these precious fish. Oh, and love the tunes too.
Really appreciate it! They are truly special that is for sure!
Solid video!!! Love sea run cutthroat trout!!!!! Fish on!
We appreciate it, we do too! They are truly amazing!
Gorgeous little stream Josh, and apparently absolutely full of fish.... but I don't get it - shouldn't all those fish be out in salt water these days?
Also, seems to be significant variation in body spotting patterns and coloration. I thought that monster at 9:34 was a Steelhead when I fist saw it. BTW, did any of these trout have the red slash cut present? I didn't see any.
Honestly I don’t get it either, we fished this place earlier in the spring and there weren’t any fish in some of these places. I’m not sure what is going on but it seems like many have just moved in from the salt. All of them had the slash next time I’ll try and do a better job showing it!
good stuff, Thanks so much for sharing!
I fly fish lakes a lot.... Mostly, actually.
I have caught some cutties in some spring creek fed lakes but neve a sea run. Bucket list fish for me.
you
Glad that you liked it! We dont have too many lakes down here in SW Washington but all these little streams are so much fun to fish! Just hard to access!
@@SpawnFlyFish I am in Sumner WA, only a couple hours from you guys. One of these days I will make it down to visit the shop!
Awesome! These Sea runs or streams heading towards inland?
Most of them are sea run!
Corner ahh music but good video bueats
Not exactly sure what you were going for, but thanks for watching!
I said the music corny that’s all
Is this Vancouver island ? Or the metro Vancouver area ?like the Harrison, Chilliwack River systems
Not at all. This is a river system close to our shop in Ilwaco!
What happened to the Todd moen film you guys made together? I can’t seem to find it on UA-cam
that creek is so dried up but there are all those fish chrome in there, why are thy there just sitting in a stale flowless cree
Good question, we are going to be doing some work with the coastal cutthroat coalition to tag them and understand exactly!
Nice fish what’s your biggest mine is 16 inches
Ive landed 4 that have taped 20 inches all were in Puget Sound though haven't caught any over 18 in any river system here in SW Washington!
@@SpawnFlyFish I caught my 16 inch in Puget sound rivers
