Tom's a young soul
I cried for days after X got murdered. His music touched my soul more than any other artist. I wasn’t in a position where I could afford therapy but X is all I needed. I still cry when I hear his voice. He completely transformed himself for the better and I saw it to be possible for myself. When X died, so did a part of myself.

One thing that's crazy about this song is that not many people realize that Pnb Rock is featured because the feature is uncredited and his part is so short and sounds similar to X to the point to where if you don't know he's on you can't tell he is.

The way I always perceived the lyrics is that she’s changing and she doesn’t realize that she has changed, and that’s why he doesn’t understand and is hurting; and he’s not changing with her or going in the same direction that she is and it’s just confusing and he doesn’t know how to handle it. That’s just the way I see it

Atmosphere has sold millions of concerts tickets and a million physical records. Deeper rapper than most in my opinion and one of the greatest story tellers of all time. His catalog is over 3,000 songs because he has released so many free albums and B sides and side projects.... So if one style isn't a fit; theres a great chance something else does.
A good few of his thousands might be "Little Man", "Yesterday" , "Sunshine", "Music Box", "The Waitress" . and many many more.
