The video on my desktop doesn't even show up in the library on the side panel. It's a .mov file that was exported with an alpha layer. Any thoughts on why it wouldn't even show up?
Hi, I’ve been enjoying your videos and I find them very helpful. Do you have other videos showing how to set up multiple computers controlling the Atem software? Ie. one operator controls switching, another controls audio, etc etc. I don’t think there’s Anouilh info/video out there covering this topic. I look forward to your response. God bless

There is no functionality for videoclips on the ATEM television studio. With this model you can only use still images. Sorry for that :/ You can refer to the manual to verify.

@@Nachos7395 It very much depends on how you define animated. You can always connect a computer to your switcher that delivers the lower thirds as a video. Depending on what you want to show you can then use the upstream keyer to key out the lower third. if you do not want to use transparencies, a chroma key (most commonly with a green mask color) will propably work fine. with transparencies in your lower third graphics however, chroma keying might get unhandy and you might prefer a luma key and using either a black or a white background for the areas that you want to key out. you will find lots of videos explaining more in this matter. searching for "atem animated lower thirds" will bring up many tutorials. good luck and have fun :D

Which model a video switcher do you own. Not all switchers have the ability for clips only certain models. If you do not have that option you will need to use some type of external graphics processor

Hey, I tried this and when I try to drag a folder of photos into one of the slots, it only exposes one picture, not all of them. Why is this?

Because like he said, you have to use an image sequence, not an MOV file.

I do not believe that this technique would work I think you would need an external character generator

Can I use ATEM Sofware Contoler without the Blackmagic swwitcher? For example for OBS Stream?
Why would you want to do that? OBS can load in graphics and motion graphics on its own. Much easier even.
