There’s a slight angle to the top mounts that apply a clamping force to the radiator when the bolts are tightened. With that the radiator shouldn’t move.
Awesome video man! I moved my radiator to the back of my jimmys chassis and I was wondering if you had any issues getting water to flow at idle? It flows good right above idle but if you let off it basically quits flowing I have a new ls water pump on the way but I don’t have much faith since they are simple pumps with metal impellers.
I love the Jimmy's chassis, nice and compact. I didn't have any issues with the water pump, however I am redoing the supply and return lines as we speak. Could cause some issues, but I'm not sure. I also changed my water pump to the newer style truck pump for the correct return and spacing. I believe some companies offer higher output mechanical pumps for the LS.
I run the same Griffin radiator in my 4800! Its perfect, plenty of cooling.
Nice fab work, shows what you can do with simple tools. love the music
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback.
I would check on the insulation pad an upgrade soon if u do alot of driving
Just curious if you think there will be any side to side movement with all the vibration. Maybe it is clamped down tight enough.

Hell ya man thanks
