Every few months I'll see what youtube has for short action and anything over 10 minutes usually loses itself part way but this felt consistent throughout and more than enough to keep me for the duration. Great Seagal Pastiche from the lead. High point was certainly the choreography in the first half of the fight between you two and the angles made some of those kicks look rock solid. The plot and slow burn comedy style were not my favorite but that's just a matter of taste and besides the mid fight gags such as the plate throwing and sausage bite were ace; somehow reminded me of the kitchen fight of the first Rurouni Kenshin live action film. I respect any short action film for having a plot rather than just being a "fight for the suitcase, etc..." demo reel. You used your location and lighting well and your DOP, extras etc, seemed to be in sync on the vision suggesting strong directing which is hard as actors also. From someone who has watched hundreds of action shorts on this platform; this is better made than most and I hope you and your team are very proud.
Wow, I really appreciate that man!!! Very glad you enjoyed it! Im happy some of the gags and Seagal spoof resonated with you lol. I would also agree that the plot is certainly the weak aspect, but we definitely wanted to give the action some semblance of a backstory/motivation so im very glad you appreciated that! We had initially thought about just doing a brief fight scene but we decided itd be way more interesting if we poked a little fun at some of the different action movies out there lol. Thanks for watching!
@@chrisrivera7530 The extra mile is always appreciated. I've been in those same shoes with a similar experience but lacked talent with martial art or stunt experience so the climactic fight ended up a weaker aspect. You did well and played to your strengths; plus action tribute plot is typically supposed to be a bit thinner to match the style.
LOVE ZACH IN THIS ONE!
Who's Zach?
You mean Zach Jones the man who's mom was a tacobell commercial legend!?
Yes him
