I absolutely love pork and stuffing butties with gravy 😋I don't mind them soggy. I sometimes cook pork in the slow cooker. But I brown it off first. Those look delicious 🤤 Nice one Eddie 👍
This takes me back about 25 years or so down Grimsby top town market on a Saturday, you could get these big buns with hot roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce, they was fantastic especially if it was cold and or rainy outside
Its abit strange using beef stock. For xmas stuffing, my family uses minced pork belly/liver and afew bread crumbs, dried mushrooms and a little bit of spice then add dried fruits, like whole dried apricots and prunes to the mix and stuffs the turkey with it. It tastes better than the turkey, the dried fruits swell from the meat fats and juices so its not too greasy aswell, eating those is optional. Any that wont fit in the turkey gets baked as a turine covered in bacon.
Chris they looked 100% better than the ones Lady Lou & Connor had at the Manchester Christmas Market.And I did mention that £9 a go was day light robbery, but we agreed its only once a year ( ah and a £1for dipping gravy)Oh to wrap yer laughing gear around one(😮1 ! ) of them. Fossa's gravy tip: Make it slightly less thick than usual, but then add a squirt of tomato ketchup and stir it in! Controversial, but it thickens it up nicely and gives it a tangy twist... 👍
