  • The video you all have been waiting for! This is the trip report on both American Airlines and American Eagle. I flew all the way transcontinental to the East Coast. I first took the long transcontinental flight from Phoenix, AZ to Charlotte, NC. My layover was short in Charlotte. I then switched to American Eagle operated by PSA Airlines and flew from Charlotte, NC to Allentown, PA. I completely apologize for the unstable walking videos. This was my very first time doing a trip report with a Go Pro strapped to my shoulder on my backpack. I need to get this issue fixed for future trip reports. I will get it figured out.
My impression of Charlotte, I do not like the city or the airport. The airport is big, but it's rather boring because there is not a train you can ride. Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is much more exciting in my opinion. I don't think I will go back through Charlotte anymore in the future, since I now have filmed a good round trip video.
I hope you all enjoy my trip report!

Concourse E at CLT is the world's busiest regional airline terminal

CLT is an unfriendly airport for passengers if their layover is very short and a long walk from one side of the airport to the other

Is going through the security still just like after 911 when you have to take off your shoes and put items into bus tubs and they check it? And from when I was last at Sky Harbor I do not remember there being the moving sidewalks except for maybe one area which was towards the area of getting to the shuttles leading to car rentals.

At least AA is redoing their cabin and seats to make them with adjustable headrests on their Airbus A321s

Chicago Midway International Airport is a very fun airport to land and takeoff from but half the shops and restaurants are closed due to a staffing shortage

This is irrelevant to this video because it has nothing to do with that airport.

I remember that day no scenery at all while flying due to smoke from the Canadian Wildfires and the smoke and air quality was so bad in New York City they were requiring everyone to wear masks outdoors because of the air quality not because of COVID

It's ok, just boring for a long layover. You don't have a train to ride like at Sky Harbor or DFW.

I had a 3 hour layover on the way back, and I was bored lol.

There’s a lot to do there. There’s Carowinds, the Aviation Museum, and even more downtown. You’ve never even been there so how would you know? 2 days wasn’t even enough time there. I think that would be Omaha.
