This is an early song I wrote about Yvonne. While David and I were finishing my 4th album "The Blue Haze" he heard my demo of this song and said "why don't we do a new recording of this track" as he said that he really liked it.
We finished this recording in a day and I decided to keep it for my next album.

Hi Deborah.. I am really pleased that you Liked my song.. Yes it is written for Yvonne, but I always try to write lyrics that anyone can sing.. However, I am thinking of taking a wee break soon from UA-cam.. For some reason, my subscribers are growing but my views are being attacked and sometimes as much as 200 can disappear overnight. My last 4 uploads have seen large amounts of views being being removed for some unknown reason.. I have been on forums recently and many UA-camrs are complaining of the same thing.. After a while, it gets too annoying.. Too much effort for almost nothing. Still, I hope you are doing well my friend.
Hi Peter. I just typed a lengthy reply and UA-cam saw fit to emove it. I guess it was because it wasn't very complimentary to them. But what I was saying was that I feel like I'm just about done here. I told Greg that I wish there was another forum we could post our videos on that didn't have the reins and the funny business and the glitches that this place has. In the least I need a breather. I see that a lot of other people are having trouble here as well. It's sad to see.

We all look for appreciation for our efforts.. But when the views are being blatently tampered with, it just knocks you for six.. I have created a number of videos still to be uploaded but honestly, I am becoming less and less interested.. Maybe we should all take the occasional break now and then.. The main thing is our health and happiness and I hope you and Greg have lots.. All the best.
You said it very well, Peter. I love singing and I love making the videos to go with the song but I know that there are numerous people who never even click the play button, they just copy and paste a blanket comment. I am grateful for the people who really take the time to listen to at least 30 seconds which is what it takes to earn a view. That in itself is a sad statement. I know that this place does certain things to keep your views and subscribers down because of copyright issues. it's not like I'm making a dime off of my posts. Maybe I'm missing something but there isn't a professional artist out there that has to worry about me taking anything away from them. But yes, our health and happiness comes first!
