After my partner and I tried our luck taking turns bashing the daoist and dying 752562626272 times I decided to look for help, and we've came here, followed the steps in this video and beat the daoist boss so fast its almost silly how hard we tried prior😅😂😂 Thank you for such a helpful guide!
@@ryanb746my problem isn’t the exploring mines more than since the snow area the maps have been massive and u go a certain way thinking it’s a side exploration thing and end up on the main quest somehow, I keep doing it and it sucks, cos then I’m too far to go back without wasting tons of time, but then I have this happen where I have missed a boss which is basically gonna let me beat the final boss really easily, the first and second maps were fine in terms of size but these next two as I’ve not got past the final boss here yet, the maps are just ridiculously big and u also have to fight so many things and get so far to get to another shrine half the time
I knew I missed something in the last area of Chapter 4, it was massive and this last area was easy to overlook. I got up to the Hundred Eyed Daoist Master and couldn't figure out why his last phase was so difficult
@@NosferatuIbu when that butthole wind sage, turns the fighting area into a hurricane, the wind tamer vessel basically turns it off, so he cant cheap shot you with tornados or retreat outside of the fighting area and do surprise attacks. i only found out about this after my second day and it made a huge difference. but you have to use it when he summons the winds into the fight, so once he's 50% health.

This game is a rare treat for me since exploration is part of the fun in the game. Therefore I am trying my best to avoid as many guides as possible.

I straight up was like 'I can beat the final phase' and kept doing it until I realized the sole reason it's hard is because your stamina is fucking half. When I saw that I immediately said 'oh this is another bullshit boss' and low and behold it has another god damn item you need to get.
If you are have trouble with the final boss my best suggestion would be to stay close to him. In his final form let him get off his initial attacks then close in and stay as close as possible during the fight👍
So, I thought this boss was dark soul level lol. I did it without the needle. Phase two was driving me bananas. Respeced twice to find a good combo. Circle of fire ended up being key to winning for me without the needle.
I struggled with scorpion, he was just too difficult at the time so went another route and accidentally came across duskveil. Proceeded to fight him and out of nowhere scorpion appeared which initiated the fight between them
this game is just TOO BIG. i get having secrets and stuff but damn this is just madness. im on the 4th chapter and im debating on whether i want to continue playing or not. its just too much
i beat him on the first try... i think i got lucky but i also practiced a lot on the 4th loong. 4th loong is insanely hard and it really helps in building your reaction time to boss hits. Not to keep stroking myself but i did not know where he was and i stumbled across him with half mana and half gourd. I ended the fight with 3% hp and no mana so that is why i say i got lucky as well.
If you are struggling with doaist then do this... it gives you level ups and material to strength yourself. I was struggling on his final phase and beat him after i got the needle on the first attempt.
Hey @elbethium if I can offer some constructive criticism, this is really half of a tutorial and you do an excellent job up until you get to the secret area, but after that you just skip through everything and leave it up to the player. no disrespect the first half of the tutorial is great and if you had have kept going it would be perfect, perhaps do a part 2 as to where to go after the first boss fight.

I didn't find scorpion and directly went to duskveil and they both fought and dusk went to 2nd phase and scorpion died. What should i do now and i cant beat hundred eyed..
Lol im still trying ro beat yellow loong, that being said i went and fought the venomous daoist, i downgraded to my golden loong staff and i still almost had to let him kill me because i wasnt sure if i broke the required arms, its 4 btw if anyone wants to know. I was hiding in cloud step and the bugs ended up finishing him off. I was glad i got fhe arm piece tho.
I like this channel's efforts but honestly it feels like each video is just an advertisement for watching 3 more videos needed to complete what the current video is talking about. Why am I jumping around for videos on how to beat mini bosses in the secret area when there could be a comprehensive video with timestamps? This just isn't for me.
I skipped scorpion king unintentionally and ended up at dusk veil, saw the epic fight during phase 1 scene and barely beat Duskveil during second phase on my first try. then went back to scorpion king site and he’s gone. Coz he died at the duskveil fight 😖😖😖
Just Keep Exploring pretty much straight forward until you get to The "Cloudnest peak" shrine and there will be stairs that you go up to and he will be there his second phase is hella hard though be prepared👍

It took me 5 deaths on the last phase to realize it's not that he's hard but that we're severely nerfed.

Duskveil is really giving me a tough time, but I know the Doaist will be much harder if i don't beat him 😭

If you are struggling with doaist then do this... it gives you level ups and material to strength yourself. I was struggling on his final phase and beat him after i got the needle on the first attempt.
Dont forget to break off 4 of his arms in the first fight by hitting from behind before beating him. You get arm armor if you do so.
It’s worth making a save file just to go in and have Scorpion King fight with you, you won’t ever see it otherwise

You can reach him from different paths, i just killed everything along my way as i explored and found him.
Its easier to just beat centipede guy without the needle than it is to beat duskveil

What happens if you face the end boss of the chapter before doing this quest
Nothing just makes it a little harder, the needle helps a lot for some bs phase that he does almost at the end of his health.
You should check out missable trophy list. I know two fights will disappear if you do the boss fight first. The Duskveil fight
