I hope everyone is having a good Saturday! I hope you enjoy riding shotgun with me in this Ferrari. Please let me know if you want to see more iconic 90's cars.
How timely, Lewis Hamilton is switching to Ferrari. Said it before, Joe is the "hardest working man in auto "Show Business." Another day, another fantastic vid., thanks Joe!
as an owner of a 91 348 tb, i can confirm what you say about the car. it drives so well and its a rock solid car. analog, mechanical and manly. will never ever sell mine. never. 😁😁
Keep reviewing these 80s-90s gems for sure. I loved the c4 corvette and I've been looking at picking up one of these as well. You were the one that really sold me on my 2023 lt1 camaro too. Thanks for the great content!
Right there with you Joe! I was obsessed with that car as a kid and finally made the dream come true a few years back. What many may not know about the 348 is changing out the 30yr old suspension for a set of coilovers take that car to an entirely different level of joy. And my other supercars have carbon fiber chassis - so I’m pretty clear on what good driving feels like 😂
Naples, Florida Car Show 5th Avenue yesterday. It was spectacular. Lots of everything from Antiques to Hyper Cars. There were close to 700 cars this year. 2.5 hours weren't enough to see all of them! Just the Ferraris numbered close to almost 50 alone! They were all very beautiful! Near the end when the cars were leaving, there was a competition to hear who was the loudest between a Lambo Adventador SV and a Mercedes AMG GT. I would say it was a tie. The Mustang Super Snake and the Dodge Hellcat Red Eye were definitely loud too!
The older Ferraris are more raw and they rely on the driver’s skills, which I love. Can you try to review a GMC Sycline, Joe? I know they’re very rare but they are so cool!
finally we get to see what its like to even just be a passenger in a vintage sports car, unlike staring up in some guys face all the time wondering whats going on
Oh daaang. The Testarossa was the car that got me interested in cars. 348tb is so close in style. Still love the look of them, as decidedly dated that some of it is. 😅 Thanks for taking us along for the drive!!!!
since you brought it up and due to my obligation to keeping things permanently rad, I streamed an episode of Magnum P.I.....old skool style. none of that remake fluff ha ha The 348 is awesome but that dang 308 has a permanent place in my heart. Keep on keepin' on Yew!!!
Good review. Youre very right about the car when you say experience. I have a 92tb. I also have a Porsche Cayman S with some mods and a alpina D3. The 348 is on paper the "worst" of the 3. Slowest. Least luxurious. Less reliable (little things... The 348 overall is a reliable Ferrari). Less practical. Etc. But it is the most exciting of the 3. The steering is perfect. The noise... The badge... The looks of it. It's such an experience.to drive it. In my opinion better looking and better driving than the testarossa. The 355 is amazing, but doesn't have the analogue feel.of the 348 and more troublesome... And much more expensive.
Hey Joe, we all know the new car reviews are gonna do the most views, but I absolutely love these older reviews especially old classics like the C5, E46 M3 and many many more. I would love for you to sprinkle these in throughout the month as you do the newer cars aswell!
I had an 89 328gts in 1990 then one day my next door neighbor rolls up in the brand new 348. Thought it looked like a small TR. Didn't like they went away from the round taillights, but a beautiful car. Thanks you much for this review Joe ! 🤙🏼 Hamilton driving the prancing horse in 2025 !!!
Always liked the 348's. Was lucky enough to test drive one in 1993 in San Diego (Mirimar Porsche dealership). It was a black on black T version 5 speed manual....never forgot how this machine felt during and after I drove it? An amazing 'totally analog "experience". A pure drivers car ♥
Great car and I loved mine, but the three out of car engine belt services over 9 years was $24k, 2 tune ups $5.5k, 2 sets of tires $3.5k, plus impending belt service, tires and tune up added to $45k, plus insurance. I sold it and bought an Acura NSX. Not as sexy, but utterly reliable, extremely fast, cheaper to insure and the maintenance cost is a rounding error by comparison.
This is one of my favorite older Ferraris . I actually have a model of this car in the same color with the same rims by the way . Personally my favorites is the Ferrari ezio and f40. Also do you think you can make a video on this two in the future?
Great review again RR , awesome affordable Ferrari a true drivers sports car , where you feel the road and real engine noise and exhaust sounds ,Yes it is real music too !, be great to see if you can jump into the next version, the beautiful F 355 GTS F1 first ever paddle shifter or the classic manual , a bit bigger CC engine, F1 style engine trans configuration with engine then trans at the diff end , Centre of gravity better over the transverse engine layout of the 348 . F355 comes with more Horse power and is much faster, even quick ish for the 2020's . Has bigger tyres more grip . Some say the F355 is the prettiest Ferrari for the modern evolution of Ferrari ever made .
I remember back when I purchased my new 2015 mustang, one of these popped up at a local auction for like 30k. Such a value back then, went to snag it but it went quick!
I would have to vote YES. Very underrated. A far more simpler machine. A pure sports car with nothing extra. Nothing extra was needed. I do love all the new tech and features on today’s cars, but also long for the simplicity of yesteryear. Great video!
you provide so much useful detail, about the steering, its low speed weight, feel the handling etc - & then no mention at all about the well known & lauded (by everyone else) handling & other upgrades of the 1994 year & upwards let alone how this car compares? Really? With no explanation as to why either? That would only get you more youtube views - especially if you disagreed & said why. Why leave it to viewers to decide who they trust more, when you don't try to defend your choice the way others do, who d acknowledge it?
I think that front grill is functional I think it's mechanical when you get up to a certain speed it opens up it pushes air through it and it goes up out to that vent in the hood up by the windshield Don't hold me to that cuz I'm not 100% sure but that's what I'm thinking I thought that's what I heard a while ago so great content man awesome car much love and all the respect
No, there’s nothing mechanical, it’s just a recess in the bumper, painted black, with a metal grille stuck in front of it. Right behind it is the front trunk. The vents in the bonnet have the interior fan underneath it with a little flap to either get fresh air from outside or recirculate the air in the car.
Love the car, but a correction the first mid-engine Ferrari was the 308 GT4 Dino, originally sold as a Dino, but later switched over to the Ferrari brand
Awesome car but from i've read the 1984 Ferrari F288 GTO is said to be the most extreme street legal Ferrari ever made and was actually designed to be a race car.
I wish nothing more than for Raitis Rides to expand into motorcycles. We simply do not have this level of detailed review for the motorcycle market imo
Enzo not being a particularly frivolous person, the ‘radio delete’ wasn’t an option but standard. As far as Ferrari was concerned, you were lucky to get a slot for your stereo. They were even so kind to run a wire for you from the front to the back for your antenna and marked an ‘X’ on the inside of the rear quarter panel where you could drill a hole for it. But from there on, you had to figure it out for yourself 😬
I had beautiful 348 TB for 19 years was nice but you will not feel 100% “grounded “ felt a little light in the front end, was not forgiving on the rear end bit snappy !! But that’s what makes the car what it is fun drive, do I miss car 🤔 not really, but I feel lucky to of owned and driven for a long time Cheers to the 348 Ferrari 🍻
My favorite Ferrari of all time is undoubtedly an F355. Love the overall design of it. However, this 348 comes a close second. I could live without the side stakes and that flat and boring wheels. Otherwise, it looks like a fun car to drive and I'd be happy to own one.
I think this era of Porsche 911's (964 and 993) weren't actually that much faster. About 4.9-5 secs to 0-60 mph. But man, they offer amazing driving experience. That's why they are so expensive now and will always be expensive. When the electric cars came, nobody has really cared about the acceleration and top speed numbers anymore. People want analog driving experience from these cars and I'm sure the 348 offers just that.

Hey if you want it get it! If you work hard and smartly anything is possible.

That is so awesome to hear
Hey @naywahn so you had a red Hot Wheels toy car of the Ferrari 348 and where did you lose it at? 😢😔☹️😞😕🙁 that you lost it

as an owner of a 91 348 tb, i can confirm what you say about the car. it drives so well and its a rock solid car. analog, mechanical and manly. will never ever sell mine. never. 😁😁
89 TB. This is an amazing car in every way. Pure kart feel. Stunner at every car show.
Great review, Joe! This 348 tb looks like it came right out of the showroom, one of the best and looks well maintained!
Nice find. In fact, TBs are pretty rare in the US, most US 348s are TSs. This looks like a fantastic example!
Great cinematography, Steven!
Steven does such a good job!
Thanks for the review Joe. More like this please!
