The D’jeeco and Shabani families are the most affectionate gorillas I have ever seen on the internet. The expressions of love and play is very evident. Whomever matched these Silverbacks with their mates did an incredible job!🦍🦍
Tayari is the only gorilla wife that I follow that is super playful and affectionate with her hubby lol. She’s still like a kid with him and it’s the cutest thing ever.

Tayari is a one of a kind female gorilla with many human characteristics 😊. She is clever, lovable, protective (and sometimes jealous) of her sister Iriki. Her mothering skills are a bit rough around the edges, but I strongly believe that is learned behavior attributed to the characteristics of her mother/aunt, but she's still young-it is her first baby. She can be very clingy at times with D'Jeeco, who likes playing with her, but sometimes he wants some quiet time to sit and relax so he'll abruptly stop playtime and walk off (4:23). Sometimes Tayari just doesn't get the message the first time around 😟.
I wish people would do some research before nasty comments... Tayari had so many playmates to rough house with in her last home. She misses it, she only has D'Jeeco ATM, Iriki has always been shy & reserved. Great comment Sonya.✌️

She's not playing, she's letting him know she likes him and is looking for some gorilla love. In gorilla society females usually initiate mating. Don't think she got anywhere because her baby is too young.
Exact opposite I think. They usually just stop still and stare till making eye contact to invite… I’ve seen her do it several times, classic initiation. Here she just seems to be goofing around.
