Well she is not necessarily trying to mate with him but she is rubbing against him sexually (just as he was trying to do with her). It is not all that uncommon...just the frequency of which this particular female does it with ALL the young males in this group is what is a bit abnormal...as she even exhibits this behavior with a newborn baby as well. They are her sisters babies. THere is an adult male silverback in the group but he constantly rejects this females advances and they think that might have had something to do with why she was constantly behaving this way. (it is also not uncommon for adult male gorillas to have sexual behavior with other males including the young males and sometimes even his own offspring!) However it is no longer a problem as she was eventually mated with a male and had her own baby and that behavior stopped.
She’s successfully r*ping the baby and has been probably since infancy given how well trained he is taking turns initiating p*netration like this. It’s absolutely vile. And just like when human adults do this to children he’s being made into a s*xual predator. As he gets older he’ll be sticking it in every hole in anyone of any age or gender or relation, probably any species even, that he can get close to. Frantically humping like a maniac. I’ve seen adult gorillas mate in legit documentaries and it’s not that fast and desperate. And for her to mount him so brazenly while she’s literally on display and among other gorillas, I’m certain she was also v*ctimized as a baby or young child. The whole video was like a terrible car crash. Super graphic and upsetting but so shocking it was hard not to keep watching to find out if you are really seeing what you fear appears to be truly happening.
