I wish people see the value in this show. It's so realistic. It's literally an autobiography, covering Rudeus' new life from his birth to his death. A story spanning an entire lifespan. A finished story too, with a planned sequel starring his children. Like where do you see that nowadays? There's tremendous value in a story like this existing, especially one this well-written. I wish people paid more attention to it. For something with so many eyes on it, it feels so underrated.
The squeal norn makes when she's yelling at Rudeus and sees his hand is gone and realizes what seems to be the actual situation and starts sobbing makes me cry every time.
I feel this is one of thr best anime ever made The relationship between the characters perfect, every character has its own problems and design to chose. I believe this anime has very good content to show and may be will become one of the best piece fiction of all time
The anime glosses over the fact that Paul had been going "hungry" for over a month, since Zenith forbade sex when she realized she was pregnant. So Paul was probably easier to seduce in that state (specially considering Greyrats are known for their libido).
Paul is probably the most ordinary down to earth human character in the entire LN. It irks me when the majority call him a scumbag for having 2 wives. He's just a young swordsman who had the blessing/misfortune of his 1st born being an adult reincarnated. I'm just glad they animated the Hydra fight as I imagined it while reading that chapter.
The sense of time is different in the Light novel. By the time I read all the way to volume 12, I didn't really had any enmity toward Rudeus. I had already forgotten or forgiven a lot of the things he did when he was a kid (it really felt like ages had passed since then). Plus no memories of your past life will save you from a changing brain and the effects of puberty, and I think the author wrote with that in mind, since Rudeus acts appropriately childish/immature during his childhood and teenage years.

Exactly! I can't lie, at first hated how horny the anime was but the longer I put up with it, the more I fell in love with it.
Because it's filled with loli stuff. Only sickos try to defend it, and clearly you're both pdf files.
Yes this shit broke me it releasing on Father’s Day broke me more than any other show I’ve watched
(Season 2 part 2 spoiler!) Yeah Paul's death legitimately hit me a lot harder than I ever would have thought after the first part of season 1.
@@jacksonashworth150 the way they executed it made it way more emotional than I had first imagined

@@kmdreacts I think the animators purposely made Paul to appear as a scumbag, then slowly redeem himself as a father
Grear video

You had to start with hanazeve

I don't like Paul neither Rudy that much I mean if we think about it no one of us do really but it still hurts to see it
You'll care more about Rudy in his father arc, you will see what a father would do to protect his family from something Impossible
