hope you're doing well frothy. hope you have a chance to check out northstar--it adds a lot of the gripes that people had that were missing in tf|2 while still feeling fresh.
This is why Crypto needs a passive ability that makes him immune to all of these ridiculous reveal abilities.
Kinda disapointed with no stat difference between ammo types but being able to use any attachment is very interesting.
I heard from another source that it can only use heavy mags unfortunately.

Man I was hoping for something a little more interesting than just the convenience of ammo types on the car. Like light ammo gives you the hip fire we would expect on the car but it would be less controllable in ads and heavy would be a slower more accurate hard hitter. I imagine that would be a nightmare trying to balance but I wanted the car to force you to plan ahead and use it to your advantage in certain situations.

Your right about the firing range bullets being destroyed, the cold war is a grenadier weapon so it counts as grenades

No, when I learned how to turn on the dummies in the firing range I noticed that bug and it happens when the dummies use the Peace Keeper and the Hemlock also.
I think it probably happens because the dummies are not actual players so their bullets are treated differently. Similar to how the Watson ult doesn’t charge their shields

Would you say it's possible to practice both Quake and titanfall 2 at the same time. I have 100h in Quake but there are so few people playing so now with the northstar servers in Titanfall 2 I decided to practice it also. I kept the base keybinds with mouse 2 jump and ADS on Shift so I don't get it mixed up, and both are similiar, but very different, in movement. My question is just, do you think I'm going to mess up one or the other with playing both? I'm fairly new to games in general, started 1.5 years ago but I have 2500h since then in fps so my aim is OK.

I would've loved to see the tactical use her sword, it's such a defining characteristic that it is kinda sad to see it only on the ultimate. They could have the tactical do exactly the same thing, but have it be fired out of the sword like ronin's arc wave or something. Other than that I really like what Respawn has been doing lately, though

About the bullets being destroyed by the Watson ult, I think it probably happens because the dummies are not actual players so their bullets are treated differently. Similar to how the Watson ult doesn’t charge their shields when placed next to them. I noticed it before and the PK and the hemlock bullets also get destroyed not just the Cold War (sorry to burst the bubble but it’s probably just a burst fired L-Star)

I've said on Reddit (and in your comments) countless times the Alternator (and Longbow) should have a Heavy Gun conversion hop up where light ammo shoots faster and does less damage per bullet and heavy ammo is a slower rof with higher damage per bullet. On Reddit all I heard was heavy ammo swap was a stupid, pointless idea. Now they add the CAR and it does exactly that, only in a less interesting fashion and people on Reddit are fawning over it. The toxic mentality of the Apex community is just really disappointing.

SO by increasing the efficiency of shield regen by 50% we decided to decouple the change and increase the probability of reaching full capacity while mid fight due to the added benefits of her ulti spinnin at a 3.5x rate meaning the resulting charged will be enough for the whole team besides wattson since her passive regen will effectively allow her to recharge faster then her companions. So what were they thinking with the CAR? it seems like it's just a powercrept r99. I'm shocked there's no downside to being able to use both ammo types.

@@defaultgoblin8929 They're still different enough. Prowler can only do burst, lacks a barrel, and has different ammo characteristics. I don't know why you'd ever pick up the r99 over the CAR

@@glitch5311 tf i didnt get mad?? i was genuinely asking what was wrong with her. and yes, i agree with what you said, about her fences being ez to avoid and her ult being good, except rn when it doesnt work. i just didnt want to say all these things cuz its the most common feedbacks wattson players give, but i rarely see anyone complaining about fence cooldown, they always say to just use ult, but i cant since im very aggressive

You can turn on the dummies in the current version It’s just a hidden Easter egg so you’ll probably have to look up how to do it.
