I myself have had depression for years and I had no motivation to do anything I couldn’t eat properly I could barely sleep, my bedroom was a mess and I didn’t have good hygiene. All I wanted to do was just lay there and slowly die . I got help and I’m much better now and I have a proper diet and good hygiene. Everyone’s different not everyone is going to have the same experience as you. You never know what someone else is going through.

My friend lives in a very unclean and messy environment in his house in the countryside (not as unclean as this guy but it's really bad) and i invited him in my house to sleep several nights and it's pretty clean there and he didn't change his attitude towards cleaning a bit afterwards
alright confession time, i hadnt cleaned my room fo 2 years but theres a couple differences here. first off da reason i didnt was cus my childhood best friebd had died. but i never made sure to openly go out of my way and make my room super dirty. if i bought something like a statue or clothing it would just sit in a corner till i felt like finding room fo it so my room was mo so cluttered than dirty. never any food and never any drinks. no cockroaches up in my room there was the accosional water but but i think da total over 2 years was 5. however i made sure i was fit as hell. compared t most ppl ma age im built like a truck, six pack and all. and last its best to mention dat im 15. i juat started cleanin ma room like two weeks ago and im already mo than 3/4 of da way done and ma room is lookin sexy as hell. got all ma displays up and shi and everythin looks so organized. all i gotta do is organize ma drawers which is wat im doin at dis very momment. i also always made sure ma bathroom (guest bathroom) was clean. never any blatant filth but it is pretty disorganized which im not gonna fix cus its manuncles shi in there
