I still own the OG ZV-E10, and it works like a charm. Although the m2 version is quite impressive, it’s just a smaller version of the a6700. I call it a6700 lite. BTW, I own the a6700, and that is a beast of a camera.
    Great video, my man. 🥃

Thanks, glad you liked the video. I agree with you, as much as I would like the mark II, the mark I is still so good for my workflow

Thank you for the video! If I’m looking to upgrade from the ZV1 and my focus is vlogging, wide field of view, and stabilization would you go zv e10 or zv e10 ii?

i would say, if you can afford it, then the ZV-E10 mark II, because it's more future proof, but if your budget is lower, the mark I is still a good choice,

I have trouble with banding while filming rgb keyboards :( I can’t seem to fix it as there’s no variable shutter, or anti flicker built into my zve10 I’ve watched so many vids about banding but it never helps. I shoot 24fps at. 1/50 and tried. 30 fps. 1/60 I’ve gone through all shutter speed - any ideas? My phone doesn’t have that banding for some reason! I love my camera entirely otherwise. 😅 I want to use it to make videos about the keyboards so it matters to me.

I get what you mean, banding can be such a frustrating issue, especially when you’re trying to showcase something you’re passionate about, like RGB keyboards, where lighting plays such a big role.
Unfortunately, as you’ve noticed, the first-gen ZV-E10 doesn’t have advanced anti-flicker settings or a variable shutter, which makes it tough to deal with specific lighting conditions like RGB setups.
Have you tried using your phone, which might be able to handles it better because many smartphones have automatic anti-flicker tech built in, designed to adjust dynamically to lighting frequencies.
On the ZV-E10, one workaround you might be able to try is adjusting the light source itself, (if possible) some RGB keyboards allow you to tweak the refresh rate of their lighting.
If that’s possible, setting it to 50Hz or 60Hz to match your region’s power frequency could help.
