I was donating platelets and plasma today and my first line infiltrated. The nurse asked me if I want to try another vein or stop. I thought to myself "if Mary can do everything she does, I can get stuck with a needle 3 times"

The Frey Life I don't know if you will read this but if you do you inspire me to keep going no matter what and have fun while doing it I have a chronic illness called CRPS and it's been hard you can look it up on the Internet and see the pictures and on the McGill pain scale it is the highest ranked pain on the scale and there is no cure when you have CRPS you have amplified pain for example if you were itchy and you scratch that spot to you it kind of feels good because you wouldn't be itchy but to me it feels like I'm getting bit by 1000 fire ants I love you and I hope one day I can inspire someone just the way you inspired me

please try to remember where your good veins are. I was bruised in the ER (the size of a baseball)! But when I was pregnant, I remembered my best vein and begged them to draw blood from there as I pointed. It never failed since :) Also don't feel nervous of asking for a different nurse... I did for my son and the next person who came in placed the IV in one try :) BTW, YOU ARE STRONG! You are BRAVE!
Peter you are awesome in knowing Mary so well. You are full of love for Mary. It's great to see that. Praying for the pain to be gone.
I want to give a huge KUDOS to Peter. He sticks by Mary's side through the good times and the bad. Being married to someone with a chronic illness can't be easy but he is so extremely supportive of Mary no matter what. He truly lives by what he vowed on their wedding day "in sickness and in health". Life is better with Peter Frey in it!

Cindy Hayes I like the lighter icing too because it's just not so sweet. But one of my favorite cakes is carrot cake and you have to have cream cheese icing for that! Yum.
Michelle Ryczko I have too many reactions to things, so I rarely get to have cake. I sooooo wish I could still eat carrot cake with the cream cheese frosting! One bite would lay me out, though.

This video made me sad that Mary is feeling so bad, but the end made me really happy. Im 31, lost both parents, dad when I was 3. Mom when I was 19. I think losing those I love had made me jaded. A few months after my mom passed my boyfriend of over 4 years died in a wrestling accident. I gave up on love. I ended up getting married too young, too early, but I had my son. He's given me so much strength to go on. Divorced and raising an 8 yr old I do love my life. But seeing you lying there not feeling well, just being together and getting strength from Peters hand made me happy. I do miss having that partner. A best friend for the good times and the bad times. Someone who can just give me comfort laying next to me when I've got a stomach ache or a migraine. Who knows if I'll ever get back out there in the dating world, but this was a nice reminder. I didn't realize I even missed that feeling until I saw how genuine it was right here. I can definitely relate to Mary wanting to give Peter a normal night.
While I don't have CF, I do have fluctuating mental health issues and hallucinations and psychosis and I'm dependant compeltely on my Mom and my long distance boyfriend; and with all my heart I wish I could give them a normal me. But I can't and I have to work through that want and give them the best version of me, that I can be. That's all I can do.
You guys inspire so much and sometimes you guys are the reason I get up, I take my meds and I function. ❤

Mary I know the feeling of wishing your husband could have a "normal" day sometimes. Sometimes I feel like my birth defect and everything that sometimes comes with it is as stressful on him as it is on me. But there's a reason why they stick around. They wouldn't if then didn't want to :) I really hope you feel better by now. Being in pain is the worst, especially stomach pain! Sending prayers to you both ♡

Philip and I love you videos. W both have cf and diabetes I also have liver disease due to cf. We also both have had a bi-lateral transplant. My late husband passed away last year we were married almost 18 years. Philips wife also did of cf.

Hope you feel better soon, it really sucks... I have hemetophobia (afraid of vomiting) and I think I have gastroentiritis, lots of nausea... So I know what you're going through, and I will definitely think of you ! :/
Flore Ngn I have a phobia of vomiting as well, it's emetophobia by the way. :) At least, I've never heard it spelled with an h. Anyway, see if your doctor can prescribe you an antiemetic. Unfortunately, it's common for people with emetophobia to be nauseous far more than the average person (part of the anxiety of it). I'm still looking for the best medication, but for the last few years I never go anywhere without a few Zofran just in case. :)

I ordered a 5x7 painting with free stickers, I haven't received them yet. How long does it take to get in the mail? I understand there has been some delays cause of Mary's health, I'm just so excited to get it that's all.
CF tummy pain is the absolute worst. There is is literally nothing to do but to ride it out. When it happens to me I take all the paracetamol in the world and cradle a hot water bottle. It subsides but not completely. Your pain must me 10x worse than mine, you're such a massive inspiration! You take all your pain with a grain of sand. So strong
Aww wishing the pain goes away! I would take it for you any day! Surgery isn't fun, and the recovery sure does take awhile :( I hope your day today was a little bit better than yesterday for sure! I'll be praying for ya😊

I'm not trying to be indelicate but if she's constipated or bloated because of the ileus that's causing a great deal of pain. Have they given her any laxatives to help it along? I guess with the paralysis the thing is to wake the ileus up.
