I like how Frank is like "How you know that song?' and the dad is like "Cuzzz, The Beatles?.. " Lol! That just show's you the generation gap. I don't think people realize how huge and culturally impactful The Beatles were in their time.
I don't doubt their impact, but Jesus are they overrated by a lot of people! If you disagree, take a minute, cause it's all you'll need, and Google the lyrics to "I want to hold your hand"
@@brownie_shenandoah I agree. Even though i grew up on the Beatles (mostly as a child in the 80's) I honestly can't stomach them nowadays. Or any song that is 'too catchy' for that matter. I actually get physically ill when i hear certain songs from the beatles and especially songs like 'Hotel California' from the Eagles, 🤮 lol..still, there's no denying their impact on culture and music in general.

Great to see Frank's dad. I wish my dad was that cool. And Rondo is right... you don't have to be a closet Beatles fan. Gazillions of people can't be wrong!
Most over-rated band of all time. I like quite a few of their songs, but I haven't actively listened to them in years. Their music doesn't hold up as well as other artists from their time or shortly after them. Give me The Stones, Zepppelin, or CCR instead any day of the week.
Lol the Dad trying to deny he's a Beatles fan. 😂😂 I love Patrice even more now I know he likes the Beatles. Such a bloody shame he's gone, RIP big fella. The world has really lost a true star.
It's always a treat when the parental unit is watching videos with you guys and what's with the marks on the back of the wall is that from laughing so hard and I can watch videos of Patrice over and over again like I always say no better way to put a smile on my face then to watch Frankenstein's lab keep laughing
Okay, long story. This wasn't really a ghetto, but I was living in Plant City, FL, and was bored out of my mind. Was nighttime, so it wasn't brutally freaking hot, so I decide to take a stroll. Guys, I'm from the Midwest. Black people are not some crazy exotic thing here. I honestly was unaware of how freaking racist this town was. (This was 1989, not sure if this has changed.) So I'm walking along, and find myself in the middle of a "black" area of the town. Didn't faze me to see black people, duh, I'm 60 miles outside of Chicago, and I've travelled, been in the military, etc. These folks were FREAKED to see a white guy in their neighborhood. Couldn't believe, in 1989, how strange it was for a white guy to be there. Here's the most messed up part of this story. I walked through the neighborhood, had a few laughs with the guys who couldn't believe that I was there, (most of them thought that I was a cop. Really? It was so strange to me.) So I reach the edge of the neighborhood, and here are 3 freaking police cruisers waiting for me. WHAT? REALLY? Billy Joe cop shines his flashlight in my face and insists that I was either selling or buying drugs, simply because I had the AUDACITY to walk through a black neighborhood unafraid. I really hope that opinions have progressed in the intervening 20 years. (Oh snap! 30 years! I'm old. Lmao!) That really broke my heart. Anyone from or near Plant City, please tell me that this has changed. Thank you. Peace and love.
yellow submarine by the beatles wasnt just a song, it was a feature length cartoon.. knowing you guys youd probably love it.. its a cool movie, its like an adventure lol
Your pops gave some real advice. I lived in Gunspoint "Greens point" for those not from Houston. I acted like the craziest white person, barefoot, beard with no shirt, walking around at all times. Catching poisonous snakes live for the neighbors. But I guess I was too crazy looking, and got blamed for a robbery, when I was at work.

I’m from South Central L. A. Right in the middle where the riots happened and I blast The Beatles in my car. I don’t give a fuck what people say. They got some good tunes. Their best stuff comes from the late sixties when they were stoned. Frank's world experience started when he was born so history for him, starts there. Yellow Submarine was released in 1966 and made it to #2 on the Billboard's top 100 list. To even make the top 10 on that list is almost an impossible task because it's about popularity and that song was very popular, and like the Beatles was always on the radio. During the 60's and 70's there were lots of goofy sounding songs about weird things like The Purple People Eater song or "White Rabbit" by The Jefferson Airplane or Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" or Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant". These songs were all stories about random things, cultural things, contemporary things. People were dropping a lot of acid back then and smoking lots of pot and when that happens stories abound and submarines become yellow submarines and so on and so forth. I'm thinking you guys should react to some old school songs like the ones I just mentioned and expand your horizons a little. You guys are my favorite reactors and thanks for all the videos you publish too. 👍
