i've managed to get a hold of 2 of these, a cybernet and a uniden chassis. one of them has a jumper setting ( for when it's cold 😁) where just changing a jumper position it gives you a 10kc step up for the alphas, the other would need a solder job, so that's never getting done. both are fantastic radios and go well with my 6001 and my 7001. my old 6001 could probably do with a recap as i've had it for 30 years, but i'm in no hurry to do that. as we say in ayrshire "it's no eatin a peece" (sandwich)🙂
