I think the monomer turned yellow because there’s no violet in it. Most monomer is violet because purple cancels out yellow so I think that may be the reason
But the question is how long does it last! Can you do a video acting testing the longevity? Or put in updates or something through the week? Long hair pretty nails just started doing that in some of her videos and it’s super helpful considering it might be good for one day but pop off within 2 days!
She uses the pop off method so I doubt she’d do a wear test and if you want to see those videos then watch longhair pretty nails channel . ❤️
@@ashiyatheprettiestvirgoo I know that’s why I suggested it! I already watch long hair pretty nails but she only does it with press ons which I’m not that interested in. C’s reviews are more up my alley but don’t know if I should really spend my money on it after watching.

This kit reminds me of the first kit I ever got to do my own nails on Wish🤣 The nail tips are even the same, but the acrylic was a different brand. I even got that pink cheap ass 7 dollar nail drill 🙈 This takes me back 🤭

A lot of times when the monomer is clear instead of purple, it turns the clear or white acrylic a yellow tint

I’ve had saviland and modelones in my cart for a while! I’ve heard nothing but good reviews for modelones but mixed reviews for saviland. I have modelones dip powder and it works really good as acrylic so I’m rooting for Modelones!
@@bigmacbabyfries i was actually just watching videos today on people testing out the Saviland acrylic hits. Nobody likes them. Nobody had anything good to say about them LOL and my personal opinion after watching the videos was I don't think that I would be able to work with the chalkiness and grittiness of the product. I'm a beginner at acrylic nails so I think I would need something a little bit better to start out with just so I can get the hang of it. I might just end up getting Polly gel instead because I'm more familiar with that and I have a lot of accessories and tools to do Polly gel with. Acrylic, not at all. I just don't have the money at the moment to go and spend 30 $40 on a halfway decent acrylic brush because every single acrylic testing kit review or whatever you want to call it video that I've seen, the acrylic brushes that come with those kits are absolutely horrible. Those companies should just not even bother putting the acrylic brush in the kit at all LOL
@@alechaf yea I’ve heard some good some bad but Mia secrets acrylic is good and easy to work with but I need a new brush but for now I’m just working with what I got
@@bigmacbabyfries I ended up buying to 60 ml tubes of saviland polygel. One is clear. The other soft pink. Havent tried them yet tho but the videos I've watched on people testing saviland polygel is like 70% positive / 30% negative opinions on it. So that's what I went with and my wallet agreed lol
@@alechaf yea I have their poly gel, I have to cure it for longer than my model ones or beetles poly gel but it’s very easy to work with! I luv it

That’s the kit I brought but the monomer did work but it fell out soon 🔜 as I was trying to use it 😢super sad because I really wanted to try to do my own nails 💅 and the glue was trash 😢

Many nail techs have said that it’s not really a good kit especially since it doesn’t state if it’s ema or mma for the liquid

yeah, not reliable although shes just popping off these sets w a peel off base so i think her nails will remain healthy and fine
@@elisabellaa but for those who won't use a peel base or want to practice mma can be very dangerous. I think anyone doing nail videos should have a disclaimer with buying cheap Chinese amazon nail kits so people know the risks. Can cause reactions too which can be serious in the long run. Mma monomer is used in some dental surgery and in some hospital surgery so if you react to it it can cause complications for you if u were to ever need work done
@@jodymac94 correct. no even really. it is illegal in the US for nail products but ofc when these products come from other countries amazon doesn't ensure the products and the ingredients. so yes i would say a disclaimer is nice although im not sure she knows for sure that this product contains mma.
