This is gorgeous. I've seen many of your video tutorials, but I don't understand yet how you get those videos with high clarity. Thank you for sharing!

Great video, Matthew! A have a few, as well, in my channel. Not as beautiful as yours, though.
One question: is there any danger to the camera sensor, to zoom in to the sun, when making a Time-Lapse?
    Thanks a lot!

Hi Matt, great video had to watch it a second as I was so relaxed I drifted off to sleep.
I’m up for long videos like this. In fact, I bet if this was 30 - 40 minutes long UA-cam will start to promote the hell out of your Channel.
This happened to a Channel I’m subbed to, for around 11 years he was uploading 3, 5 - 10 minute videos each week, low views and low subs and was on the verge of giving up. Then another you-tuber reached out and helped dive into the analytics found out that any videos 30 minutes or longer had over 100k views and one subject of the short videos had garnered over 4M views over the 11 years. And so, as of the summer of 2019 he uploads 1, 30 - 40 minute video each week with 130K+ views and he just hit 475K subs, oh and the subject is ... wild camping.
So, I think you’re on to a winner with this, just make them a little longer if you can’t do 1 a week, then every 2 - 3 weeks and go from there.
Also when we can travel again, try the views from Alexandra “Alley Pally” Palace, Hampstead Heath, and Primrose Hill. Also try the Walthamstow Wetlands, Victoria Line to Blackstock Road and a 10 minute walk west down Forest Road/Ferry Lane just check the opening times, also nearer to you would be the East London City Farms at Spitalfields, Stepney, Freightliners, Hackney City, and Mudchute Park.
Hope this gives you something to think about, and best of luck for 2021.

Martin I really appreciate you sharing your insights!! I'm currently shooting a four day long gopro timelapse which will be quite long, and I'm excited to get a one hour long timelapse video out there asap :)

I am not sure if I allready did not comment this but I have to say it again - stellar collection! I have one question thought - in many of your older videos, you showed how to do holy grail by manual ramping (also with A mode if I am not mistaken)...BUT - with manual ramping and also with A mode...am I right to say that with the change of shutter speed comes change in "speed" of movement in timelapse? the longer is shutter opened, the movement gets more blurred and I have often a feeling that it creates a feeling of slower movement. Of course, interval stays the same. I got often that feeling with speed of coulds. Bedore sunset, it was quick, but after the sunset with longer shutter speeds, it somehow changed and it was quite irritating :( Is my head completely wrong? :D

@@MatthewVandeputte thanks! I am not sure in what mode you shot your sequences but they look very fine to me - so maybe my head is f&ck*d and I see it only on my work...:D

Matthew - Thank you for the inspiration! I've cheated with my iPhone a few times, but finally did my first "proper" timelapse using my Fujifilm. I had learned a lot from you through your videos already so I was decently prepared. It wasn't too bad! instagram.com/p/CKbwdfWhvdZ/ My 8 second interval was maybe too long. I also wish I'd adjusted the exposure occasionally for more frames to extend my clip length. You're also one of the folks that inspired me to try a channel. Thank you again.
