If i remember correctly Fafnir the Dwarf murdered his father over a Treasure and became a Dragon because of his Greed to protect his cursed treasures or did the treasures curse him? Anyway he and Cursed Treasures are connected.

I really loved Fafnir and Lucoa this episode, just how I liked Fafnir and Takiya in the last. I'm glad this season is really paying attention to the characters that barely got any attention in the last season, it's really great.
First season was a bit busy trying to set everything up, but now that everything has been set it can just play.
Lucoa’s voice actor does such a good job; she’s seriously underrated.
I bet the plot for Huge Melons is amazing
