I add butter to to tone down the sweet sugar. Fold the edges like a pie then use a fork. You won't lose all the filling. Hast to be tightly closed with no open filling coming out before cooking. I sprinkle sugar on after the egg wash, if you don't want icing.

OMG! I have that exact same rolling pin. I got it 30 years ago as a gift and I absolutely love it!! It is weighted so nicely and makes rolling anything a breeze! My wooden handles are long gone but I still use it! I've never seen another one until yours!
By 7:00 it looks like she's making one big giant pop tart. I make my pie crust homemade because I need it to be gluten free and ita also fast and easy. I would definitely try this recipe. I wonder how she eats all this stuff and still stays in shape?
It looks delicious but I have 2 questions: 1-does the filling harden up so it doesn’t leak out of each square? 2-why don’t you make your own crust? Store bought can’t compare to a beautiful, rich Pate’ Brisea.

There's a lot of other cooking shows on here where they actually cook. Too bad these people that want to learn doesn't go find a REAL cook! Disgraceful!

Probably not much. Pie crust is shortening and flour, salt and water. Should have enough "grease" to lift cleanly off the baking pan.
