    Great choice for Qantas.A350-1000 has proven that it's a great aircraft.777X is still an experimental jet and who knows for how long more.

    They can't get the 777x quick enough but the A350-1000 is already available and in service with other airlines. That is the reason Qantas went for the A350 and not the 777x

      But Airbus will not be able to ramp up production, so Boeing is relatively safe and will still get half the orders

    • @shi01
      @shi01 3 місяці тому

      @@Tom-sg4iv True, but the issue for Boeing at the moment is that they have no product that can compete with the A350 until the 777-X hits the market and nobody really knows when that will happen. I mean they fail to meat one deadline after an other.
      The predictions say anyway that in the next 20 years Airbus will probably reach an overall marketshare of 60-75% when it comes to airliners.

    I have made many trips from California to Melbourne and other parts of Australia and going from there to New York would be would be very uncomfortable I don't care what kind of aircraft you're on. The only exception would be first class in business.

    Qantas cannot wait for Boeing to certify its 777x airplane.
    The a350 is already certified and flying passengers since January 2015. Only Rolls Royce needs to build the Trent XWB-97 turbofan engine for the a350 to be more sturdy.

      Why talking about paint problems when the competitor doesn't fix the doors properly?
      The problem of Boeing is the lack of trust under the actual management. Who can be sure that the 777x is not another problem plane like the 737 MAX?

      Because all Boeing trolls are hiding and have nothing positive to say.... Watch the daily news and 99% of plane problems in 2024 are Boeing planes. Yes, sometimes it's a maintenance problem but Airbus planes have to be maintained too... Maybe some users need some AI to understand the reality...
