I kinda wish we had npc’s in ark, It would be so much fun, plus it would make more since to have them since the explore notes we find mention the different tribes that live on the island and other worlds. It’s like a missing piece of the puzzle without having other people
I know Spinos drops the polymer hide, and holy I was so afraid he would leave those terror birds whit out harvest them, believing he would get noting from hitting them like whit some other dinos xD

"Hatchets Are The Way!" Try harvesting various corpses with the pike without first harvesting other resources. More resources could be like feathers where we get a lot more with the pike than we get from manual harvesting through the radial menu. And do vultures give feathers? I can't remember if that was covered in a previous episode.
Syntac, make sure when you get a flyer that you watch out for the random NPC plant towers of doom. Lost quite a few good creatures to those in my early days playing this.
